Bryan Blehm lied to the court about illegal ballots in the 2022 AZ Governor election

Bryan Blehm, an attorney who represented Kari Lake in her case to overturn the results of the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election, has been suspended from practicing law for 60 days for lying to the Arizona Supreme Court on Lake's behalf.

In Lake's case before the court, Blehm claimed without evidence that "35,000 illegal ballots" were included in Maricopa County’s final vote count. Lake's lawyers were initially sanctioned $2,000 after failing to support the claim in court.

The court pulled Blehm's license to practice law, and stated he would be on probation for one year once his license is reinstated. He will also be required to attend five hours of law classes on ethics or professional responsibility. The State Bar of Arizona had sought a suspension of Blehm for six months and one day. Blehm failed to show up for his disciplinary hearing, instead posting a picture of himself on X giving the middle finger to the State Bar.
