The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Have you been to the museum - or Institute as it's properly named? They've got one of those bulldozers, as well as a burned out bus and lots of other things that just leave you worn out at the thought. I knew my dad had gone to Birmingham for the demonstrations, but I didn't know that just by fluke of luck he was in one of the pics at the Institute until I went there for the first time back last fall. Pretty easy to recognize him - there weren't that many white guys getting sprayed.

Remember Larry Craig, the Republican Senator who propositioned an undercover officer in an airport men's room? One of those prominent conservative politicians who had a record of anti-gay legislation and then was caught in a gay.sex scandal?

In 2008, in front of the Senate Ethics Committee, he argued that what happened in that Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport bathroom was "purely personal conduct unrelated to the performance of official Senate duties," and, as a result, none of the ethics committee's business.

Now he's reversed his (wide) stance, saying that it was proper to use $217,000 in campaign funds to pay his legal bills stemming from that incident, because the bathroom trip fell under his official duties as senator.

The judge seems skeptical.

A history of civil rights support runs in my family - I can go to the Civil Rights Museum in Birmingham, AL and find a picture of my dad getting sprayed by the Birmingham FD.
Long term interest in and support, my ass. Oh boo hoo. I'm so friggin' touched I'm going to cry. I never doubted for a moment you weren't part of the a fuggin' c l u. If it's deviant, nasty, disgusting, perverted, or anti-religious, you bastards are right in the middle of dragging it into the open and screaming civil rights.

As to posting pics of people in weird costumes in parades - meh, I've been to Mardi Gras and Bike Week too many times to be offended by that.
That, I wouldn't doubt. You fit the stereotype of a follower of queer scum and weirdness.

I told you. No obsession. You queer lovers want to post queer shit, I'll post anti-queer shit. Get used to it.

You and your kind are most likely obsessed with queers and fags. You post the pro queer garbage so you can get off on seeing what my response will be. Having fun? I am.

Since I was locked out from responding in the demon prez thread, I'll respond here.

Leaving aside how pathetic your obsession with them is, that does mean you're visiting queer sites. You are an idiot, again.
Buttcracker wrote: Sure, you're not. Riiiiigghht.
OK, OK, guilty as charged. I visit the BRDF quite frequently. I'm obsessed with watching queer lovers getting pissed off.
Happy now?

We left B'ham in 1969 and have been back only three times since, so never made the museum. Been to Dexter Ave Baptist in Montgomery; hafta check it out if I ever get back for more than a pass-thru.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I'd never been to Birmingham before I had to go for business last fall. Had a couple of hours to kill between meetings and found the Institute. Well worth the time - none of Birmingham's "warts" were glossed over, and it seemed very accurately presented. Not that I'd recommend being in the state of Alabama unless you had to, but if you're around there anyway - or even have to go a little out of the way, it's well worth it.

We'll (they'll) look back with the same sense of incredulity and sadness that we now do about the injustices heaped upon other groups - from slaves, to Irish, to Chinese, to anybody who had to serve time at the culturally-determined bottom of the pecking order. It's funny how something can seem "normal" at the time and be totally ridiculous a few years later. On a lighter topic than discrimination, I'm guessing some tattoos will be falling into that category in a few years.

Don't those nasty, faggoty-ass sons-of-bitches realize that normal people don't want them in their midst? If the coggzuckers and twat-twinkies want to 'marry', get the hell out away from people who have decided by their vote they're not wanted. The SCOTUS has no business in deciding a faggot-marriage issue. As humans, they have rights like anyone else, but having the court to decide that we must accept the sex lives of spawns of satan as normal behavior is ignorant and goes against the very nature of human existence.

On rights issues, it is indeed the business of SCOTUS. Not the voters.

Rights are not something you put up for a vote. America has a Bill of Rights, not a Bill of Popular Opinions.

It's good to hear that's what you believe. So we won't be seeing any more of you here in our "midst" and you'll "get the hell out away" from people who don't want you? Naw, I didn't think so. And neither will gay citizens give up their rights just because you are afraid of them.

Seriously - you really believe that US citizens should be able to be voted out of a town like they were on "Survivor"? Is there any other legal thing, other than being gay you think people should be voted off the island for?

It's not what he did 'to me', rather what he did 'for me';
the same as your daddy did for you.

Our fathers had loving intercourse with a person of the opposite sex; our mothers; that in turn produced a child. They chose not to end our lives in the name of birth control or 'family planning'.

Our fathers did not have lustful perverted sex with another man's asshole nor were they cocksuckers. Our mothers were not dykes
or twat twinkies. Got it now?

Queers and their supporters speak of a loving relationship between same sex couples; that's bullshit and a lie straight out of the depths of hell.

A psychic psycho. The demented one can read the minds of others and tell what they feel in their hearts.

Dumbass.
