A Nutjob A Day

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Concur. His "Solar" handle is quite appropriate, though. I could not stand to look at his spew for very long.

You know it's whacked when "Reality " is the voice of reason.

Since I don't watch TV, is this story being covered outside of FOX and is he alive or dead?

I have seen no mention of Assad's demise on TV nor on the Internet. When Gaddeafi got nailed it was all over the news. I'm thinking the whole story is a fabrication. Suggest removing this thread.

So let me get this straight. Because there is no coverage in the media, that somehow justifies removing this thread?
You were being sarcastic, right?

No I'm not being sarcastic. This forum as you well know prides itself in posting facts. There's no credible back up that Assad has been terminated. Even the original link had inconsistencies from worldwide news sources. If he was gone the rebels would let the world know and US in country sources would have verifed it.

I noticed both he and Thorn questioning some of the BS previously. That's a seriously out of touch group if those two are the voice of skepticism.

This line from Supsla sums up why conservatives are so out of touch reality. "This is the difference between libs and cons when it comes to Obama. Libs believe what he says and cons have learned to ignore his words and observe his actions."

They simply believe what they want to believe, regardless. And he admits it.

Solar is now claiming that the worldwide media is waiting for talking points from the White House before they report Al-Assad's shooting.

Have you noticed how much they dislike "talking points" on that site? They don't seem to know what the term means.

Yep.. and despite being proven wrong on each of her idiotic notions.. bimbo JustKari still believes that "Michelle kept all 22 of her assistants, they kept the guy who walks the first dog, at $100,000 a year, plus 3 caligraphers. I might add that every first lady until now has had ONE assistant."

The reality is that Michelle has 2 less assistants than Laura Bush's 18.. and 3 less than Hillary's 19.. . and there IS NO DOG WALKER POSITION. .. .

JustKari is clearly JustAnAirHead...

Reality:
In bold leters; Arab Report: Assad's Assassination gets ones attention.

Terminated, wounded, what differernce does it make? There's no credible source that anything happened to him.
Yeah, as much as I hate it, I've got to give kudos to Reality.

Yeah, they went full wingnut on the suppoed Assad assassination. Instead of waiting a
while to see how things shook out, they went with "breaking news." Turns out the
MSM was patient and got it right, and the nutters got it wrong--again.:

LOL, you trust our media more?
That reflects poorly on the people of the US, to somehow think our media is above bias.

Now they're going back on the Obama is a Muslim and Obama takes vacations. It's
2008/9 all over again.

After reading some Israeli Arabic forums (Thanks Solar for the links), I've decided that conservative political forum is just the English version of those idiots, except surprisingly less censored than the conservative political forum. (They allow "liberal" views.)

All that running and dodging he did over here, completely oblivious to credibility, posting loads of crap with no credible sources, and now he's worried about credible sources?

The tree huger nut jobs over there are now upset that a wind turbine killed a bird.... and they now consider Nuclear a green pollution free energy.

Just another day in crazy land.

Love this part:
So where is the outcry like we heard back in the 60s over false claims that DDT was killing our National symbol, the same time these same idiots were claiming the earth was entering a global cooling period because of man and his infernal machines, where is the demand that we stop with unproven technology?
Where to begin........

and here.. .. .

On balance, Audubon strongly supports wind power as a clean alternative energy source that reduces the threat of global warming. Location, however, is important. Many National Audubon Society Chapters and State Programs are actively involved in wind-power siting issues in their communities. Each project has a unique set of circumstances and should be evaluated on its own merits.

In Massachusetts, Mass Audubon (which is an independent state Audubon organization) recently completed an extensive review of the proposed Cape Wind project on Nantucket Sound that set a new standard for analyzing the potential effects of wind turbines on birds.

Every source of energy has some environmental consequences. Most of today's rapidly growing demand for energy is now being met by natural gas and expanded coal-burning power plants, which are this country's single greatest source of the greenhouse-gas emissions that cause global warming. If we don't find ways to reduce these emissions, far more birds—and people—will be threatened by global warming than by wind turbines. Our challenge is thus to help design and locate wind-power projects that minimize the negative impacts on birds.

I visited the Carolina Raptor Center outside of Charlotte a few years ago. They had about ten bald eagles that had either been shot by "drunk hunters" or got caught in power lines.
So, by Solar logic we should:
A. Outlaw hunters
B. Outlaw power lines and
C. Outlaw beer -0-?
