Fox News' Anti-Tim Walz Supercut Sure Makes Him Look Good
... Fox News personality and former Trump press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tried to help the GOP’s fearless leader after the announcement, first by telling Fox News hosts that there was probably “a lot of cheering at Mar-a-Lago” over Walz’s nomination.
Later, she introduced an 80-second supercut designed to make Walz look as bad as possible to the network’s viewers.
First, she pointed out that one of Walz’s first acts as governor was to promote DEI, a term meaning “diversity, equity and inclusion” that many conservatives have used pejoratively.
McEnany also falsely stated that Walz wanted open borders by showing a clip from a CNN interview where he pointed out the folly of building a border wall.
“If it’s 25 feet, than I’ll invest in a 30-foot ladder factory,” he jokingly told Anderson Cooper late last month.
She also pointed out that Walz once said that one’s person socialism is another person’s neighborliness and signed bills protecting gender-affirming care in his state.
You can see the complete supercut below, but spoiler alert: You may be triggered if you are not used to a politician taking responsibility for their own mistakes.
Although the purpose of the supercut was to make Walz look bad, many people on social media had the opposite reaction.
A compilation of a politician taking care of people while also taking accountability for any issues during his leadership?
Oh, the horror...
Gee thank you @kayleighmcenany for highlighting everything good about @Tim_Walz and for the added blue indie votes.
So uh, Fox News just undercut the argument that he was fine with the riots in 2020… while also showing that when he makes a mistake he admits it?
Is that what I just saw?
Well done guys. You definitely got him.
Thank you @kayleighmcenany for the info! Very helpful! I'm voting for @Tim_Walz
They would much rather a VP pick that attacks childless women and is into Diet Mountain Dew.
How dare the governor do things to try and bring all people to the table, make sure your neighbor is helped in a time of need, and took responsibility for a response at the state level. The horror.
Also, wait until they learn he signed a bill for free lunches in schools.
They absolutely do not understand compassion, inclusion, and accepting blame. These are foreign concepts to them. Ergo, this is a gotcha video when actual good people nod their heads and think, "Yes. Of course."
Keep this up, assknuckles.
Imagine going after a guy for *checks notes* being a good neighbor.
Jake from State Farm, I hope you watch your back around maga.
Yeah he's a bad guy

kids get to eat!
Look at the difference between governors!
