I wish some judge would issue a "Stop Lying" injunction. A federal judge, so it will be applicable nationwide.
Are alternative facts lying?
Hell, they're worse than lying. Lying generally relates to one thing, but if you go with alternative facts you can generate innumerable lies from them. At least I think that's how that works. Maybe it's just the way I look at it, though.
Also, calling them "alternative facts" is a lie about the lying

We've also got secretive development plans - benefiting fat cats at the expense of the public and environment:
James Gaddis had just returned home Saturday afternoon when he found a dismissal letter waiting on his townhouse’s doorstep.
The former two-year Florida Department of Environmental Protection employee told the Tampa Bay Times he was the one who leaked information about the state’s plans to build golf courses, 350-room hotels, pickleball courts and more at nine state parks, including two in the Tampa Bay area.
Now, the agency appears to be firing him, according to a copy of the letter shared with the Times.
Gaddis, 41, who was hired by the agency as a cartographer, said his actions weren’t political, and that there were two main reasons he chose to speak out: The rushed secrecy that was behind the park plans, and the vast environmental destruction that would be caused if they were to be completed....
Gaddis, a single father to an 11-year-old daughter, has started a GoFundMe as he searches for a new job. As of Tuesday morning, the campaign had raised more than $26,000.
"$154,083 raised of $10,000 goal
3.9K donations"
... Online, Gaddis is being revered as a hero by state parks enthusiasts and environmentalists as links to his donation campaign circulates across the Internet.
‘Thank you sir, for putting our State Parks and all the incredible species and habitats before yourself and your financial security,” wrote Jessica Namath, conservationist chair of Tequesta’s environmental advisory committee and a leader in the online fight against building golf courses at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
Quote from an article discussing the possibility of DeSantis offered the Defense job:
Politico reports that one ally "who often talks to DeSantis’ inner circle" said DeSantis and his team also "had to decide whether to trust Trump knowing that he could join the administration and then get thrown out, perhaps even in a short amount of time."
Did that really say "had to decide whether to trust Trump..."??? Seriously? WTF else would Trump have to do to show to everyone that in no way is he to be "trusted"?

He just needs to ask himself two questions.
1. Would he last as SecDef until January 2027 or beyond which is when his term expires and he's unemployed. (Probably not.)
2. Will taking SecDef improve his chances for the 2028 nomination? (Probably not.)
He's going to need a personality transplant before he thinks of another presidential try. One might think (hope) that because he was in JAG in the service and has a good education and congressional as well as governor experience he'd realize how woefully unqualified he and the other clowns are for Defense Secretary. Some guys' egos are just bigger than their brains.
