I'm not that upset, I still haven't forgiven them for 1984.
That was George Orwell
Meh, we had Bill Buckner before Bill Buckner was infamous (Durham actually replaced Buckner on the Cubs in 984 and he was traded to the Red Sox. We're #1 in curses!)

Plus the Friars had Steve fucking Garvey.

Tigers > NYY > CLE

Game 5: Go Padres > @Dodgers, 8:08 p.m., Fri., Oct. 11 (FOX)
Padres > Mets > Dodgers, but I don't hate the Dodgers
Grrr. Go Subway Series and then Mets > NYY.

I don't have strong preferences from who's left, other than not liking Cleveland, the team formerly known as "Indians," but it would be cool to have an old time series with Yanks and Dodgers.

Mostly not arguing that, but I do have a little sympathy for Cleveland as they currently have the longest curse in Major League baseball. If they were still the Indians I would probably be rooting for them wholeheartedly.

But no one really gives a s*** about the Guardians.

Yeah, "Chief Wahoo" was a bit disrespectful, but I say "Indians" is OK at least until they change the name and capitol name of the next state over.
Anyway, if they lose the name, they lose the sympathy for any curse they might have had.

The Guardians get the same love as the Commanders (of which I did agree their old name needed to go, but they seemed to go out of their way to pick as bad a replacement as you can find).
