A Nutjob A Day

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

They're actually calling it hate speech. Guess the truth hurts but what's amazing is that preachers all over this country say all kinds of crazy shit in their sermons every weeks but if Obama is in attendance suddenly he's responsible for everything the pastor says. No wonder these clowns are scared of Obama. They believe he has way more power than he has. What a bunch of whiny chicken shits.

WTF are those loons talking about??

President Barack Obama attended Easter services at an Episcopal church near the White House where past presidents frequently have worshipped.
They're going by the live tweet feed of one person: https://twitter.com/intent/user?screen_name=jeffmason1
The idiots are now referring to it as a racist church.

Presidential Proclamation -- National Financial Capability Month, 2013
NATIONAL FINANCIAL CAPABILITY MONTH, 2013

- - - - - - -

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

A PROCLAMATION

All Americans deserve the chance to turn their hard work into a decent living for their families and a bright future for their children. Seizing that opportunity takes more than drive and initiative -- it also requires smart financial planning. During National Financial Capability Month, we recommit to empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools they need to get ahead in today's economy.

My Administration is dedicated to helping people make sound decisions in the marketplace. Last year, we partnered with businesses and community leaders to roll out new public and private commitments to increasing financial literacy. We released a new financial capability toolkit to help schools and employers as they launch their own initiatives. And with our College Scorecard and Financial Aid Shopping Sheet, we are working to give families clear, transparent information on college costs so they can make good choices when they invest in higher education. Together, we can prepare young people to tackle financial challenges -- from learning how to budget responsibly to saving for college, starting a business, or opening a retirement account.

Financial capability also means helping people avoid scams and demand fair treatment when they take out a mortgage, use a credit card, or apply for a student loan. My Administration continues to encourage responsibility at all levels of our financial system by cracking down on deceptive practices and ensuring that consumers are informed of their rights.

We also know that too many families are living paycheck-to-paycheck, unable to take advantage of tools that would help them plan for a middle class life. That is why we must build ladders of opportunity for everyone willing to climb them -- from a fair minimum wage that lifts working Americans out of poverty to high-quality preschool and early education that gets every child on the right track early. These reforms would encourage the kind of broad-based economic growth that gives everyone a better chance to secure their financial future.

Our history shows that there is no economic engine more powerful than a thriving middle class. Reigniting that engine means giving ordinary citizens the tools to find prosperity, including strong financial capability. To learn more about managing money and navigating the 21st-century marketplace, visit http://www.MyMoney.gov and http://www.ConsumerFinance.gov, or call 1-888-MyMoney.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim April 2013 as National Financial Capability Month. I call upon all Americans to observe this month with programs and activities to improve their understanding of financial principles and practices.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this
twenty-ninth day of March, in the year of our Lord two thousand thirteen, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-seventh.

I'm guessing Obama could say he likes cottage cheese, and those head cases would have a problem with that.

Here's what I don't understand. Solar is working extra hard to ban every single IP he can. Why not just make a private forum? Although the bigger question is, what's he so scared of?

The wing nuts have a thread titled: "University Compares Pro-Life Students to White Supremacists "

What they're referring to is that the student government at John Hopkins denied a pro-life group official recognition as on campus club. Their reasoning was that the club likes to harass women going into and out of a nearby abortion clinic. The Pro-life group hacked into the student government's e-mail and found an e-mail where one member of the student government was referencing a group at another campus who used similar tactics That group happens to be a white supremacist group. So in wing nut land that means that John Hopkins University is comparing pro-life students to white supremacists."

Fucking amazing how illogical these CPFers are.

Yes, there isn't really a Monsanto Protection Act, that's just an informal name.

it needed deregualtion of business.

They all do. They lack the mental capacity to debate without name calling, denigrating, and deflecting from the actual topic at hand. Funny how Boatrocker, ombudsman, bannination and vrede sit over at BDF, talk about everything that goes on over here, and yet lack the guts to come over under those screen names and attempt actual debate without all their usual nonsense. It's either that they are spineless cowards or they know that they can not debate without everything I listed above which will not be tolerated here.

In the future, pleas refrain from naming other forums or it's members, it has nothing to do with the topic , but tends to attract trolls in it's stead.
Thanks.

Let's be honest: They have a blanket ban on anyone who might disagree with them. Anyone who does so - even by taking a conservative position - is declared a "liberal" and banned.

I made one post. No name calling, denigrating, or deflecting. I used the same screen name as here and on the old BlueRidgeNow forum.

Bowhunter/Nascarfan88 quickly declared me a "liberal", because I had dared disagree with him on the old forum. I was banned within minutes.

For those from the "conservative" forum reading this, Nascarfan88 would always run away when asked what made me a "liberal." Especially when I often took what had long been a Republican position. Like when he had a Newt Gingrich banner in his .sig, but I was the one backing my position on the "personal mandate" with video clips and columns by Gingrich.

It's not about "liberals" or name calling or screen names. It's about not being able to cope with the idea of someone disagreeing with them or disproving their claims.

I called no one a name, nor did I deflect or display anything but calm, nor can any of them show otherwise. In fact, dare them, I do!

Chairman S. is clamping down. There will be nothing allowed that contradicts the unofficial
nutjob policy of paranoid, exaggerated, the end is near nonsense. That's the only thing
that will be allowed in the wingnut bubble. Common sense reality is a non-starter. All the
noise about name calling and immaturity is just a diversion to keep the wingnuttism pure.
And many of these folks name call like old pros. Can you say projection?

One of the nutjobs was wondering how Obama's vacation time compares to other presidents.
Of course that would take a few minutes to google and let in actual facts. Strictly forbidden.

If there is a Conservative then they have a extreme social Moderate Republican that doesn't
have a conservative bone in his carcass. (Like George Will) or Bill Crystal of National Review.

I spoke with a gay couple about this and they responded that it will make them feel like a second class citizen. I told them that they couldn't have a baby the natural way so that in itself should make them feel like a second class citizen. They haven't spoken to me since.
.... and you blame them? You just called a pretty good percentage of the population second class citizens.

Meet the 46 United States Senators who were willing to sign over your 2nd amendment rights to the United Nations.

READ MORE......if you what the United States of America to kick out the U.N.
http://thedaleygator.wordpress.com/2013 ... to-the-un/

I admit, I've not kept up with this one, but as far as I know this only affected the transport of weapons between countries and has nothing to do with second amendment rights. I need to do more research on it.

Edit: Ah yes, my suspicions are confirmed.
The legal arms trade, comprised of both the import and export weapons, constitutes around $70 billion annually. Attack helicopters, tanks, and other larger arms are covered under the treaty, as well as small arms and ammunition for these weapons. Under the terms of the treaty, states are required to determine whether the shipment of arms to a second country would be used to commit atrocities or violate human rights or if they could diverted for such a purpose, and report back to the U.N. Secretariat on their efforts.
