Rudy Giuliani has agreed to never again publicly accuse two Georgia election workers of tampering with votes in the 2020 election, a false accusation that he has repeated frequently and that led to his bankruptcy.

With the agreement, Giuliani is forfeiting a yearslong verbal and legal battle he’s waged with the election workers, Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shaye Moss. It also gives the women significant power to hold him accountable if Giuliani again publicly suggests they stole votes to hurt former President Donald Trump, which is not true.

A draft of the agreement filed in court Tuesday says Giuliani would be “permanently enjoined from publishing, causing others to publish, and/or assisting in others’ publication of any statements that suggest that Plaintiffs, whether mentioned directly, indirectly, or by implication, engaged in wrongdoing in connection with the 2020 presidential election.”...

In a filing on June 14, Giuliani's lawyers say that at least 28 people and companies have been subpoenaed by the creditor committee as they seek to uncover Giuliani assets.

Rudy Giuliani's bankruptcy creditors are to subpoena Newsmax, the right-wing news network, to find out how much they are paying the former New York mayor.

It follows creditors' claims that Giuliani is hiding his income sources from them.

The proposed subpoena states that it seeks to establish how much Giuliani is paid for his Newsmax shows Uncovering the Truth and The Rudy Giuliani Show, as well as "any other media appearances...on Newsmax."

... It follows long standing claims by the creditors that Giuliani is hiding income from them.

On May 28, they asked a New York bankruptcy judge to immediately appoint a trustee to oversee his finances....

Guess there's a method to the madness. He was able to delay seizures for a year by working/flouting the bankruptcy process.

Now he can appeal his verdict and try to get a stay on seizures while that process plays out.

He may have learned something from his master. Hopefully the appellate court looks at the totality and doesn't play.
