Finally! In reality, though, "Sleepy Joe" kicked your ass like you were a Useless neighbor.Trump admits he lost in 2020, leading white nationalist Nick Fuentes to disavow him
... At least three times in recent weeks Trump, the 2024 Republican party nominee, has acknowledged that he lost in 2020 "by a whisker."
"He beat us by a whisker. It was a terrible thing," Trump said of President Joe Biden during a 45 minute interview Aug. 4 with podcaster Lex Fridman. He used similar language at an Aug. 30 Moms for Liberty summit and an Aug. 23 press event at the Southern border.
... Trump lost the popular vote to Biden my 7 million votes and the Electoral College by 74 electoral votes.
He's got a point. However, only idiots believed TRE45QN in the first place. They needed "someone to look down on (libs and RINOs)".... His effort to overturn the election culminated in Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters hoping to stop the certification of his defeat.
White nationalist Nick Fuentes blasted Trump Sept. 4 for admitting that he lost the 2020 election, and said that he will work to get voters not to back Trump.
"So, why did we do Stop the Steal? Why did did anyone go to Jan. 6? Why did any one go to jail? ... It would have been good to know that before 1,600 people got charged," Fuentes said on his podcast, referring to the criminal charges for those who invaded and ransacked the Capitol. "It would’ve been good to know that before (I) had all my money frozen, put on a no-fly list, banned from everything, lost all my bank and payment processing.”
I approve of this message. GoMAGAtsGo... Losing Fuentes and other far-right influencers and media personalities could have a serious impact. The Trump campaign has long relied on those in the hard-right media eco-system to amplify political messages to their audiences of Trump's most ardent supporters.
As I predicted.... In a podcast, far-right personality Candace Owens said the infighting a “MAGA Civil War” is spurred by anger that Trump's campaign has softened his policies and persona to boost his mainstream appeal.
Trump has flailed back and forth on his position on abortion bans recently, drawing rebukes from anti-abortion rights activists....
Conservative activist Joe Oltmann fined $1,000 a day until he discloses evidence to court
Colorado conservative activist Joe Oltmann owes a former Dominion Voting Systems employee $1,000 a day, starting Wednesday, for as long as he continues to withhold evidence of his claims of election rigging....
Michael Flynn’s Stunning Court Testimony Gives Away the Game
Michael Flynn admitted in a court deposition earlier this year that one of the biggest election fraud claims pushed by Donald Trump and his supporters had no evidence to back it up.
CNN reports that the QAnon devotee and former Trump national security adviser acknowledged under oath in April that he had seen no credible proof to suggest that an executive at Dominion Voting Systems fixed the 2020 election results using the company’s voting machines. This allegation was repeated and pushed by several far-right supporters of Trump in an attempt to claim the election was stolen.
The deposition was part of a lawsuit filed by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer against Flynn’s speaking tour, ReAwaken America, which has been promoting far-right conspiracies including election denial since 2021.
... Despite this admission, Flynn still insisted to NewsNation in May that the 2020 election was “filled with fraud,” with “clear evidence” to prove it, but didn’t provide any details when asked. In September, he spoke to Alex Jones about a Marxist plot to steal the election from Trump, and nearly two weeks ago told the audience at a Christian nationalist festival that Trump will unleash the “gates of hell” if he wins the election....
That's almost the exact opposite of what has happened. TRE45QN has been reelected, he's threatening mass pardons, and every one of his appointees is a 2020 election denier.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 10:08 amIt's confusing in the sense that so many people were involved in it and to varying degrees. I have to figure you've seen the GQP House "report" on their "investigation" into the old Jan 6th committee......it finds Liz Cheney guilty of "witness tampering" and other batshit nonsense. When I first read of it, it reminded me of how I posted in the Idiot Box thread about how I liked the "Whose Line IsIt Anyway?" show when I posted that Republican House members should use the opening slogan of the show before starting any meetings....."let's make some stuff up." Because that's what they do.
Trump’s Rage at Liz Cheney Takes a Dark Turn—and Wrecks a Big GOP Lie
... the real story here is the public conduct of Trump and Republicans, not that of Liz Cheney or what Trump supposedly “believes” about it. Trump is demonstrating that he’s eager for Cheney’s prosecution to proceed regardless of whether there’s any legitimate basis for it.
The story is that House Republicans are abusing their public roles to create a phony pretext for something that Trump already intended to do anyway: wield law enforcement as a weapon against his enemies with no serious legal predicate. And Senate Republicans appear willing to confirm Patel while knowing full well that Trump has expressly chosen him to carry out this extraordinary and degenerate abuse of power.
All of that is the story. How is it conceivable that the media is treating this as a conventional political moment? Trump’s veiled threat toward Cheney should prompt the press to revisit those reassurances from Republicans. GOP senators should be hounded mercilessly by reporters on whether they’ll knowingly support Patel now that Trump has made the corrupt reality of the situation so inescapably, alarmingly clear.
Yeah, I've been wondering why the press isn't forcefully dismissing all the "weaponization of the Justice Department" bullshit constantly spewing from right wing media and Republican nutjobs.Vrede too wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 11:47 pmneoplacebo wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 10:05 amYeah, pretty much.
