Did anyone tell the Irish they're dogs?
:D Opening drive, 18 plays, 9:45, first blood TD, IRISH!

EDIT: 1st OSU drive, 11 plays, 6:05 TD.
Okay, it's gonna be like that, no punt game?
ND 3 and out punt, 3 and out punt, 1 and out for the half. OSU 3 for 3 long drives and TDs, 7-21, knocking on the door again in the first minute of the 2nd half.

We added our personal jinxes to the BRD jinx, sorry. :doh:

EDIT: 7-28, 12:46 - 3rd :roll:

Good on ND for pulling within one score for 3 3/4 minutes. Not good enough, though.

Family from Grove City celebrating OSU’s national championship victory. Guess dinner will be on me when we visit there again and celebrate their national championship with them. Good to have family.

In the final AP ranking SMU's #12 spot is the top ACC spot. Ouch.
Conference call

SEC - 7 (Nos. 4, 6, 9, 11, 17, 19, 22)
Big Ten - 5 (Nos. 1, 3, 5, 10, 16)
ACC - 4 (Nos. 12, 14, 18, 20)
Big 12 - 4 (Nos. 7, 13, 15, 25)
AAC - 2 (Nos. 21, 24)
Mountain West - 2 (Nos. 8, 23)
Independent - 1 (No. 2)
The Pussies are a second rate team in a second rate conference. :violin:

... One can support more than one team, cretin. Only Clemson fans are too slow to know this and are too lazy to search and see for themselves. Sad.

Thanks again for being so stupid as to keep giving me the chance to gloat over the upcoming fish-slapping and stomping by #5 Texas. We ALL know that you'll run screeching away once the deed is done, Pussy.

Cower, 1 FAT CAN, cower.

Always good to disappoint others here. Clemson ACC champions!

Where have you been since Joe shamed DonOLD by 7 million (!) votes in 2020? Oh, that's right, the Pussies got trounced by OH St in the semis 49-28 on 1/1/21, then didn't even make the Playoffs since. Ha-ha.

Only an insecure, desperate and pitiful "FAN" ignores his team ALL season, and for the 3 seasons before that, only to magically slither out from his cesspool after an extremely fortunate victory and having cowered from a season of failure:
Was the 2-seed in the ACC Championship solely because 2-loss Miami flubbed vs Syracuse by just 4 points the week before;
Lost to SC, how humiliating, got solidly beaten by Louisville and was utterly JV vs GA;
3 losses, the only such team to barely sneak into the Playoffs;
Tried oh so hard to lose to SMU with a miserable 3-17 4th quarter showing.
Dodged OT thanks to an SMU kick-coverage lapse with 0:16 left;
12th seed, last :lol: ;
Will surely get fish-slapped and stomped by #5 Texas, a team I've had the stones to visibly support all season. It will be a pleasure to watch, almost as much fun as watching your subsequent complete disappearance, wuss.
Sometimes, being right is very easy.

Yeah, the ACC hasn't won a National Championship in football in 7 years. Clemson defeated Alabama, arguably the greatest college football program in history. Doesn't matter what the final AP rankings are this year, Clemson defeated SMU for the championship.
Ohio State took out your Texas team on their way to winning the National Championship.
Texas is a Red state though, thanks Texas voters.

After LOSING to South Carolina the week before, ha-ha.

After the Pussies LOST to Texas by 2 TDs in the first round exactly as I predicted, ha-ha.

Austin is blue, dummy. Everyone knows that.

There are worse teams. You never saw me attacking OSU. I even applauded them, along with ND, for validating the 12-team Playoff. Pay attention, dummy.

Shedeur Sanders retirement being 'forced' by Deion, says Denver reporter

Oh no, I was just reading about his draft status. This is a tragedy! I clicked on the article to learn why.

It's his number being retired by the Colorado Buffaloes, and there's some controversy over it. Shedeur isn't retiring and is likely to have a successful NFL career.

Fucking clickbait. :ateeth:

From the get go I thought this Belichick/UNC relationship would be a train wreck. I suspect some powers at UNC wish it would just go away.

Well, I've never liked Belichick, and didn't like his getting the UNC job. Without Brady, he's a mediocre coach and has an unnecessary air of assholiness. And the biggest age difference I've ever had in a serious-ish relationship was 11 years. There weren't any noticeable issues from that, but I really wouldn't want a 24-year old girlfriend personally. Nevertheless, I don't think he deserves a bunch of bashing over her, nor do I think he's being hornswaggled. I'm pretty sure he knows what's up. ;)

I'm sure they're both getting something out of the relationship, and I feel mirth rather than disdain. Maybe he'll even be less of an asshole -0-? However, I think drama is assured whatever our feelings are, and agree that we shouldn't expect too much of his coaching. That interview was weird. Poor UNC.

UNC was fun to follow back in the days when nobody tried to take them too seriously as a football "power." (yeah, I know, who thinks that now, but still) They'd have somewhere around a .500 season and it was a good year if they managed to beat Dook and/or NC State. Fall afternoons were beautiful at Kenan and there was fun to be had after the game, win or lose. Mack Brown's first tour got everybody thinking they'd be the next dynasty, but it would have taken a lot to get them up to the level FSU, Miami, etc. played. Football was for fun - basketball was serious. Sadly, 23 years of national championships in womens soccer were sadly ignored.

But anything is probably better than being in the media all the time because your coach is a jerk, and particularly if he isn't winning.

BTW, I wonder if it occurred to anybody that Bilichick's lady is the same age Monica Lewinski was when she and Bill didn't have an affair.
