I came across other articles about Ukraine doing this a couple of times to Russia earlier this year and Russia doing this to Ukraine. Maybe it's not a big deal to the MSM any longer

1. It is not “an interesting question.” Ukrainians are the ones fighting the war. So of course they are an equal member of the peace process.
2. Ukraine didn’t “go into war.” They didn’t start the war. They are defending their right to exist.
3. Ukraine wants “peace” more than anyone else. But surrendering parts of Ukraine to russia is not peace.
