I have my own issues with Biden, but I really don't understand why the repugs thinks he's so awful, other than just being a Democrat. Some detail, with real examples would be nice.

That myth still? You MAGAts are SOOO gullible. TRE45QN negotiated the withdrawal and set the deadline, then did ZERO planning for it. Joe did his best by extending the deadline, but there was too much Dolt .45 inattention and incompetence to overcome in such a short amount of time for ending a 20 year war. TRE45QN has shown his utter disdain for the military, generals and troops, his entire life and presidency*.

Given the law on requesting asylum, which I have thought should be changed for years, Biden did the best he could. Most of those hordes of people you see coming over are asylum seekers, and current law says they have to be let in. "Stay in Mexico" might be good policy, but absent some smoke and mirrors "emergency" declaration isn't really legal. You may have noticed, it's really easy to get in through the border entries, especially for the 90% of drug carriers who are carrying US passports.Supsalemgr wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2025 1:35 pmAfghanistan withdrawal and total mismanagement of the southern border are two.

"“I wish Joe Biden wouldn’t use September 11 as the date to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan, for two reasons. First, we can and should get out earlier. Nineteen years is enough, in fact, far too much and way too long,” Trump said, adding: “September 11 represents a very sad event and period for our Country and should remain a day of reflection and remembrance honoring those great souls we lost.”
Lightloafer Lindsay disagreed with Trump's position:
"Trump’s statement earned a pointed rebuke from one of his fiercest allies, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who tweeted Sunday evening: “I could not disagree more with former President Trump regarding his support for President Biden’s withdrawal of all forces from Afghanistan against sound military advice.”
However:
"Biden said the withdrawal of American troops will begin on May 1, in line with the agreement the Trump administration made with the Taliban. "

"The United States Armed Forces completed their withdrawal from Afghanistan on 30 August 2021 ..." That is the Biden delay from TRE45QN's negotiated and totally unprepared May insanity. It was still impossible to make it smooth, especially with the rapid collapse of the Afghan Army that few other than we progressives predicted.

Driver who had a stroke wins $13 million lawsuit after cop accused her of being drunk
Cheryl Lynn Rhines suffered permanent brain damage after a trooper accused her of being drunk while she was suffering a stroke, delaying medical treatment.
Still tragic, though. There's a 3-4 hour window after the onset of symptoms in which clot-busting therapy can be initiated. The 2-hour delay in care caused by the arrest may have been the difference between serious injury and no deficits at all.
It's interesting that the cop isn't IDed, nor are any others that may have participated in transport, booking, jailing, etc. I wonder why. There's also no mention of discipline.

Oh my, looks like people are really committed to the "deep state" conspiracy

Opps.3 top U.S. prosecutors resign over order to drop NYC Mayor Eric Adams corruption case
Three senior federal prosecutors resigned Thursday in connection with the department's decision to drop the criminal corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
Danielle Sassoon, the acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, resigned, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office said. Her decision came three days after Justice Department leadership instructed her to drop the criminal corruption case against Adams.
Sassoon, a veteran prosecutor who helped lead the prosecution and conviction of Sam Bankman-Fried, the FTX founder, was appointed interim U.S. attorney by the Trump administration last month.
Emil Bove, the acting No. 2 official at the Justice Department, accepted Sassoon's resignation, and placed two assistant U.S. attorneys who worked the case on leave pending investigations of their conduct by the Office of the Attorney General and the department's Office of Professional Responsibility, according to a letter from Bove obtained by NPR....
One of the two assistant U.S. attorneys placed on leave is Hagan Scotten, a U.S. Army veteran, Bronze star winner and a graduate of Harvard Law School, who previously clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts.
More "lawfare" warriors?Later Thursday, John Keller, the acting head of the Justice Department's Public Integrity Section, and Kevin Driscoll, the senior-most career Justice Department official leading the Criminal Division, also resigned after being asked to take over the Adams case, according to two sources who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak on the record.
Or, Adams really is as corrupt as DonOLD, who also broke campaign finance law, the charges are valid, and the current DoJ actions are the result of Adams kissing godfather DonOLD's ring.

Wow, I'm reminded of the Saturday Night Massacre, courageous prosecutors choosing integrity and the law over a criminal administration's wishes. Dimwitted, hyperpartisan SoupySales probably thinks that Nixon was a victim of Dem "lawfare", too. Riiiight.

Not when there's hilarious irony like misspelling 'bunglers'. Did you miss that part? It's tragic that you don't have the capacity to laugh at yourself. MAGAts are thin-skinned wimps who cower from the meat of a long post in order to whine about the trivial.

Speaking of the law, criminal godfather PINO is stymied, again:
Can't have that when the lifelong criminal enterprise is back in the WH.‘What A Mess!’: Judge Slams Trump As Government Watchdog Reinstated
The judge's scathing order will keep a recently fired special counsel in his job for at least a few weeks more.
U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson excoriated the Trump administration in a scathing order Wednesday that will keep Hampton Dellinger, a top federal watchdog, in his job for now.
The White House attempted to fire Dellinger last week in what Dellinger argues was an illegal termination. The Senate had confirmed him in February 2024 to lead the Office of Special Counsel, an agency that enforces whistleblower protections and political corruption laws. Under existing federal statutes, he is expected to serve a five-year term and can only be removed by the president for inefficiency, malfeasance or neglect of duty.

DonOLD was also rejected by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.Dellinger said he received no explanation for his firing in an abrupt email last week from Sergio Gor, assistant to the president and director of the presidential personnel office.

What part of "illegal" does MAGA not understand?... The fight between Dellinger and the Trump administration rages as the president continues to threaten to flout court orders or find ways to skirt them....
Sergio Gor (nee Gorokhovsky)
Political operative with little relevant experience;
Business partner of Donald Trump Jr - nepotism once removed;
Extreme RW tour of bosses:
Booker for Faux Noise, of course;
Spokesman for Sen Rand Paul -

Officiant for Rep Matt Gaetz's wedding -

Rep Randy Forbes - corrupt bigot, trounced in the 2016 Repug primary;
Rep Michele Bachmann - Islamophobe, homophobe and "gay conversion" asshole, misogynist, business welfare queen, birfer

Rep Steve King - racist and anti-immigrant bigot with white supremacist affiliations, so bad that he was abandoned by the GQP and was removed from all House committee assignments, got primaried in 2020.
