Can't make this (stuff) up

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Look, these guys weren't vandals, and certainly not "terrorists" like Bondi wants to claim. They were just guys going by to browse the cars - tourists, maybe. They didn't mean to do anything illegal and really don't know how those cars blew up. I'm sure they'll be considered the same as repugs look at J6 people, and will eventually end up with pardons if they're convicted of some made up politicized crime.

This Tesla/Musk situation is an example of what I tried to explain to LNF fools. Just like currently there are millions of Americans pissed off at Tesla/Musk, there are not millions of Americans vandalizing Tesla cars and Tesla dealers. More like maybe two dozen or so. Out of millions. Hell, in practically ANY situation there will be outliers and extremists....take GQP House members....not ALL of them are as crazy as Jordan, MTG, Comer, Foxx.
Looks like they may have caught 3 Tesla attackers in 3 different cities, as I predicted. It's difficult to get away with public crimes these days. This will probable mean fewer will take their places.
How's the one that set himself on fire doing? :---P

 Tesla is famous for spontaneous combustion, just like Capitol "tourists" can have accidents.

This latest lie and whine from the trump cult over tesla vandalism, as orchestrated and amplified by the supplicant Fox News, has spurred the cult to respond as directed. Hell, it's no different from anything else Fox directs them to whine about....critical race theory, drag shows, trans people, immigrants, green M&Ms, lost masculinity, "woke", anything related to DEI efforts, anything related to alternative energy (except Musk and Tesla). The list is ong but distinguished. Fucking morons. Sold their country for a lying television network and a career con man. Fish slap emoji

MAGAts and other cons are so easy! As directed, both Supplicantsalemgr and Jasmine have raised the topic as if we should feel responsible - a few tens of thousands in property damages compared to Elon vandalizing Tesla to the tune of tens of billions of dollars, no doubt ruining some lives in the process.

It's pretty hard to impossible to physically hurt someone torching a car.
The gunfire is dicier - a manager may be inside late, as might a cleaning crew. One would need to do some thorough, and risky, scouting. Not the forte of folks firing from a distance.
Structure fires would be worse, risking anybody inside as well as unlucky firefighters.
Otoh:

‘I just fell to the ground’: Some of Trump and Musk’s most public supporters targeted in a wave of swatting incidents

People have died and will die in the future. Plus, the tactic relies on instilling the fear of death. :puke-left:
That said, some swats are certainly Russian provocations and RWers swatting themselves - on behalf of their cause or as attention-seeking behavior. That's the problem with any anonymous action, we never can know for sure.

Tourist booed for climbing sacred Mayan pyramid in Mexico

:: A German tourist is booed by visitors for climbing the El Castillo, a sacred Mayan pyramid in Mexico

:: Chichen Itza, Mexico
Boo, hiss.
A video showed the man ascending the pyramid and attempting to hide inside the structure to evade security.

The site's security personnel intervened and removed the man, as some outraged visitors booed and shouted "sacrifice." ...

The crew wanted her son to die?
Sounds like she did everything right.

It's amazing planes don't fall out of the sky everyday with all the stupid.

United Airlines is apologizing to a mother who accused the crew of trying to make her take off her 2-year-old son's ventilator

:o :angry-banghead: If I had been within earshot I would have gotten thrown off the plane for my informed, credentialed and angry response.

United again:
A United Airlines passenger says a pilot forced him from an airplane bathroom for taking too long. Now he's suing.

* A lawsuit claims United Airlines mistreated two Jewish passengers on a flight from Mexico to Texas.
* One passenger says a pilot forced him out of the airplane bathroom for taking too long.
* The complaint accuses United Airlines and federal agencies of physical harm and discrimination.
:wtf: The pilot just had to make it ethnic, didn't he? :ateeth:

Homeland Security Secretary carries around a checkbook and lots of cash? I don't know any details other than what's in the limited article, but unless it's ripped off your shoulder on the street, losing a handbag pretty much requires some degree of negligence. Like leaving it in your shopping cart in the grocery while you turn around to look for broccoli. Like leaving it on the back of your chair while you face the table. Like setting it down on the counter while you turn and scan your card - or wait for your change from the cash you paid with. Most regular people know that - apparently the Secretary of Homeland Security doesn't.

Maybe the Secret Service gives a false sense of security? Were they all in a bar across the street?

I'll bet a Black man wearing a mask would not have gotten away with it.

Why the passport? Is Gnome ready to flee the country at a moment's notice? Why?

If it was back in SD the thief would have gotten a gun, too :o . Does DHS have rfid badge access areas? :problem:

They have those in gated communities? There's nothing to be concerned about is there? Making hypocritical leftists feel safe again.
