I'd imagine that even with the tariffs enacted the market would eventually stabilize, but Trump's economic "policy" (or lack thereof, really) is just so schizophrenic that there's no way to accurately predict what's going to happen next.

The amount of uncertainty probably cannot and will not be easily quantified in the near term.

The last time we had these type of tariffs was 1910 and things are a little different these days.

Even if he backs off on tariffs I predict that DonOLD will continue screwing the economy just as he did his first term. I'm planning on 4 years of cautious investing unless the Dems assert control.
