Wow.
Sec Hegseth, is it you or is it them?

This Admin* is a farce. The New IRS Head Was Just Sworn In. He's Already Out Of The Job.
Gary Shapley was sworn in as acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service earlier this week. He's now been fired, the White House confirmed.
... Gary Shapley took over the role of acting commissioner earlier this week but is already on his way out after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent complained to President Donald Trump that Shapley was installed without his knowledge, The New York Times first reported Friday....
Shapley was chosen for the role after the former acting commissioner, Melanie Krause, resigned earlier this month. She resigned over a deal to share immigrants’ tax data with Immigration and Customs Enforcement for the purpose of identifying and deporting people illegally in the U.S.
After Shapley was sworn in, Bessent reportedly complained to Trump that Shapley had been given his new position at the call of billionaire Elon Musk, who has played a key role in the administration as the head of the new, so-called Department of Government Efficiency. Musk has wielded his new power by decimating the federal workforce and firing tens of thousands of civil servants in critical government roles.
Trump reportedly decided to reverse his decision after speaking to Bessent.
In a social media post on Thursday, Musk responded to conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer in a post where Loomer accused Bessent of being anti-Trump.
“Troubling,” Musk responded....
Our adversaries gush in awe.Three Hegseth aides ousted in leak investigation decry 'baseless attacks'
... Dan Caldwell, a Hegseth aide; Colin Carroll, chief of staff to Deputy Defense Secretary Stephen Feinberg; and Darin Selnick, Hegseth’s deputy chief of staff were among four officials in Hegseth’s inner circle who were ousted this past week.
... Former Pentagon spokesman John Ullyot also announced he was resigning this week. The Pentagon said, however, that Ullyot was asked to resign.
... The departures also follow the firings of senior military officers, including Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. CQ Brown; Chief of Naval Operations Lisa Franchetti; National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command director Gen. Tim Haugh; and Vice Adm. Shoshana Chatfield, the U.S. military representative to the NATO Military Committee.
Hegseth's blood type is likely 80 proof.
And it is hard for alcoholics to keep secrets about anything.
I know this because I have a family full of them.
Trump has the moral and intellectual depth of a teaspoon.
And, since Trump wants to always feel like the smartest guy in the room, he purposely chooses people just as dense or denser than he is.
This group is a MESS !!!
After a bold face lie he didn't do it but what else is new from this administration!
Partyin' Pete has raised his game from stupidity to treason.

Sethuraman Panchanathan lasted 4 years under Joltin' Joe, 10 months under DonOLD.Trump-appointed head of National Science Foundation resigns: ‘I have done all I can’
... In a statement about his resignation Thursday, Panchanathan — who was appointed in 2020 during Trump’s first administration to a six-year term — did not speak directly to DOGE’s efforts, though he noted that NSF “must not lose our competitive edge.”
“I believe that I have done all I can to advance the mission of the agency and feel that it is time for me to pass the baton to new leadership,” Panchanathan said.
He added: “This is a pivotal moment for our nation in terms of global competitiveness. NSF is an extremely important investment to make U.S. scientific dominance a reality. We must not lose our competitive edge.”
The National Science Foundation, which seeks to bolster national security through the advancement of scientific research and education, announced this month that it would cancel hundreds of grants totaling more than $230 million, CNN reported.
In a statement describing agency “updates” last week, the foundation said the types of grants being eliminated “are not aligned with NSF’s priorities.” Those include but are “not limited to those on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and misinformation/disinformation,” according to the statement.

It's our team that proposed moving the honorifics for slavers and traitors out of public squares and into museums where context could be discussed. PINO wants them re-erected
Maybe not the Civil War, itself, but there are serious efforts to limit mention of slavery being the cause, and to remove the long dirty history of racism after the War and the civil rights movement in response.
