... Arias-Tovar’s wife told the outlet her husband does not have a criminal record, owns a construction company, and pays taxes....
Hannah Jones, who said Arias-Cristobal has been her family’s longtime babysitter, wrote in a GoFundMe that the detained teen “came to this country in 2010 at the age of 4” and “did not qualify for DACA,” because her family had arrived in the U.S. after the cutoff date to qualify for the program, which gives certain undocumented people who arrived in America as children protection from deportation....
“My sister goes to college, and she was an honor student since middle school. And she runs. She loves to run. It’s her passion, and the only reason they came is to follow my sister’s dreams,” the teen’s sister told the outlet.

Another example of what twenty five years of Fox News will do to you. Fanatical belief in bullshit, lies, and insanity. And they revel in it.
Sad.
Harvesting ICE prisoners who are in local jails for minor traffic violations IS seeking them out, DUH!
What's business like at that ICE fscility in Hendersonville? Full house? It's a pretty small place. I don't even remember where it is. I think it's in a mostly residential location, though. I only saw it once and that had to be before 2015.

Idk. I know that the county jail has cooperated with ICE for years, not sure about the city.

Anyone remember the the nutjobs from the BRN forum that were screaming about the FEMA and the Jade Helm camps off of Upward Road?
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.

Quite well. I was working occasionally at the mobile hospital warehouse that was the subject of the conspiracy theories. I don't remember Jade Helm being part of the local hand-wringing. We never had coffins or the ability to imprison masses. Since BRN was a locus of the paranoia I reported it to the boss. He was already aware and said the wingnuts got "talked to" by the authorities (FBI? Marshals?). The stupidity died down. I don't think I shared with y'all that there really was a facility. It wasn't technically secret, but there was a lot of stuff that could be stolen and we didn't want visits from the crazies.

What kind of facility?

It was a warehouse containing complete mobile hospitals: big tents with generators, HVAC and space to erect them for practice, x-ray, ER, ICU, inpatient, potentially surgery, staff quarters, pharmacy, etc, trucks for moving all of this stuff, crew vehicles, forklift, office and meeting space, kitchen. It wasn't small, hence the wingnuttery.
A few years ago it moved a short ways to S Allen Rd. Not sure if it's still there.
