The Wall of Weird

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I'm pretty sure RFK and the rest of the MAGAts don't care what Elizabeth has to say.
KINO is scrambling to defuse someone's "Outrage". "He had triggered a firestorm ..."

Also,
... The American Public Health Association (APHA) accused Kennedy in a post on X on April 9 of being a danger to the public’s health.

He “should resign or be fired,” the APHA added....
Wiki:
The American Public Health Association (APHA) is a Washington, D.C.–based professional membership and advocacy organization for public health professionals in the United States. APHA is the largest professional organization of public health professionals in the United States and hosts the largest gathering of public health professionals in the world at their annual meeting and exhibition. The organization focuses on a wide range of public health issues with programming related to academics, policy, capacity building, and advocacy.
KINO and the rest of the MAGAts should care about them. Besides, autism wingnuttery is not fundamental to MAGAtry. It's only prominent now because DonOLD and KINO made a campaign deal. Most MAGAts are not vaxidiots. They're mixed.

Like a moth to a flame, he just can't help himself.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., in a new interview, said autism was an epidemic with an impact that surpasses the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is an epidemic. It dwarfs the COVID epidemic and the impacts on our country because COVID killed old people. Autism affects children and affects them at the beginning of their lives, the beginning of their productivity,” Kennedy said during a Sunday interview with radio host John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM’s “The Cats Roundtable.”

“For our country, just the pure economic cost of autism is, will be by 2035, $1 trillion a year. That’s just the beginning because many of these kids are aging out and their parents worry every day. And I’m talking about people with severe autism, what’s called profound autism, which is about, which is about 26 percent of the total people who are diagnosed with autism,” he said.

“Those families, those children are nonverbal, they’re non-toilet trained. They have all the stereotypical features of autism, head-banging, toe-walking, stimming, agonizing gut pain and head-banging. Those kids are kids that will not hold jobs. And many kids with autism, many of the higher functioning autism actually can, have tremendous potential to live independently, to get jobs, take care of themselves,” he continued.
What do you disagree with?

As of April 13, 2024, Covid killed 1,219,487 Americans.
https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries

They were mostly "old people" past their years of economic "productivity". We can't quantify the emotional cost of losing them early.

Idk how many survivors were hospitalized, or what the average length of stay and costs were.

If the CDC's 1 in 31 Americans diagnosed with autism is correct, and IF KINO is correct that "26 percent" of them have "profound autism" that works out to 2,852,544 Americans. They will sometimes bring joy to their families and/or caregivers, but are otherwise nonproductive for the decades of their lives. The costs of care are immense.

So, in a limited and cold economic calculus it MAY be accurate that autism is "an epidemic with an impact that surpasses the COVID-19 pandemic." It's in discussing the causes of autism that KINO gets really wingnutty.

It was the one trillion dollars a year in ten years that blew my mind.

Over $350,000 a year per kid?

Ah, Idk. Maybe he's including the costs of partial care, special ed, lost productivity, etc? Worth keeping an eye out for elaboration.

Cool, 3 1/2 months and I can brag to teenagers how virile I am.

Is this a hoax? Notice that KINO said "teenager", not 'teenage boy'. Is he averaging in teenage girls, or is his grammar as sloppy as his science? :x

Comments:
I’m sick of these ultra-gross, old guys talking about fertility and reproducing all the time like RFK, Jr. and Musk. They actually would make one’s ‘nads mutate to allow asexual reproduction if one spends too long in their presence. Ick.
Is… God…I hate to even ask, but… is RFK Jr 68 years old? Is this just like the world’s creepiest back door brag?
71. Close enough....
I'm going to show my 73 year old dad this clip and ask him and my mom to have a baby sister. Then I'm going to tell my 23 year old son he has no shot of being a dad until his 60s 🤣🤣
Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him. Not a doctor don't listen to him.
He is going to blame vaccines, specifically the one for covid. Then, he will urge people to retain his law firm and file suit. It's a way to enrich himself, and first, he will use the powers given to him by our government to compile a "registry" of those with autism.
He is trying to encourage young women to date much older men.
Nttawwt :D
RFK jr should focus his time on current disease outbreaks and making sure our food supply is safe - not worrying about semen.
This is the type of crazy shit you hear from your grandparents.
He has the data and the facts except he pulled it out of his ass
https://www.scientificamerican.com/arti ... declining/

Image
Are Sperm Counts Really Declining?
Some studies have found marked drops in sperm count, whereas others have not, and it’s surprisingly hard to measure
To be clear, this article says that more data is needed, but that many top scientists in this field confirm a decline in the Western world. There are also 3 articles embedded in his link that say the same thing: that this is happening and is profoundly troubling.
Is it? Seems to me that overpopulation is a far greater threat to humanity than infertility is.
Why are MAGA cultists, and I’m including RFK Jr in that sorry lot, preoccupied with the private parts of children and teens?
Maybe those Qanon stories about the cabal of wealthy pedos really are true, just pointed in the wrong direction?
The deep state was white supremacy all along.

Pizzagate was right about child trafficking, but wrong about which party was doing it and the location.

:wtf: :angry-banghead: America can ALWAYS meet its needs with increased immigration from nations desperate to relieve their resource stresses. This is really about White fear and maintaining White supremacy.

GOP Senator Forced to Step in After RFK Jr. Loses His Cool in Hearing

:violin: It's been a couple of weeks since Jagoff said or did anything stupid and we never hear about Susie Wiles at all. Maybe this gives me a boost in the pool. KINO is taking a lot of heat these days. His conspiracy theories are bad enough, but dismantling programs that everyone can see the value in is criminal. Kids cancer research - Seriously? Go ahead, KINO, blow a gasket.
