I really can't see that the Mr. T style neckwear, the dollar sign pictured as well as the arguably worse "Legend" helped his cause at all in the pre-selection process. I don't think you'd find real legends like Lamar Jackson wearing that stuff.

Shedeur Sanders was not a top 5 draft pick.

Opps.

EDIT: Round 5! The Browns finally grabbed him (144 overall). His 1st contract should be a bargain for them. He's the 2nd QB they drafted after grabbing Dillon Gabriel from Oregon in Round 3. Has there ever been so much chatter around a Round 5 pick?

Baker Mayfield is working out well . . . for Tampa Bay. :)

Stuffed roster:

40 year old Indy refugee Joe Flacco. Use him until age or injury forces retirement?
Draftee Dillon Gabriel. Incredible college career, incredible 2024 with the Ducks.
Philly refugee Kenny Pickett.
Draftee Shedeur Sanders. Talk him up and then trade him?
So-so Deshaun Watson. Will he ever have a breakout year? Too damaged to trade?

Another funny guy:
Terry Bradshaw: Steelers' interest in QB Rodgers 'a joke'

Terry Bradshaw isn't a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers' prolonged pursuit of Aaron Rodgers.

The four-time Super Bowl-winning Steelers quarterback didn't hold back in his assessment of the seemingly never-ending flirtation between Rodgers and Bradshaw's former team. In a radio interview with 103.7 The Buzz in Arkansas on Tuesday, Bradshaw lambasted the Steelers for their interest in signing the 41-year-old.

"That's a joke. That to me is just a joke," Bradshaw said. "What are you going to do? Bring him in for one year, are you kidding me? That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there." ...
:o :laughing-rolling: Kaaron got stomped.

 Nope, and this is before the potential addition of Kaaron.
Who holds a rally five months into a second term?
Someone with an insatiable appetite for attention.
And money
And who is always running so any attack is political and will 100% angle for a third term even if it’s as JD’s vice president
Thank you for your service, Mr Garrett
Image
I'm a die-hard Steelers fan.

And I most definitely have to agree with you.
Thank you for your bravery. I know how difficult this mustve been
 Myles Garrett Brawl with Mason Rudolph
So he did say what Myles Garret said what he said right before Garrett clocked him in the head with a helmet.
Exactly what I was thinking, I didnt believe it before but now im like, well, he prolly did say what Myles Garret claimed he said 😂
Oh I kinda believed it before. This is confirmation.
Racial slur, hence MAGA.
Shout out to the Steelers for inventing entirely new reasons for me to root against them
As a Steelers fan, I now hate Mason Rudolph.
Not sure he has any fans...

IDK why the steelers did... zero. like somehow got worse...

I know QBs don't grow on trees but shit if they sign Rodgers, I bet coach is gone cause that team will implode.
Hey, at least Rodgers would start, otherwise Mason von Fuckface is going to be our guy.
Jesus! It's a Turd Sandwich versus a Giant Douche.
Rocky Bleier gave Trump a 47 Steelers shirt. Fuck him.
AND THAT’S MEL BLOUNT’S NUMBER! JFC!!!
So no matter what, they’ll have a crackpot as a QB, whether him or Rodgers.
Why is he holding a rally
In a world of Mason Rudolphs, be a Jalen Hurts.

“We understand that a recent rally in Pittsburgh has generated a range of reactions from our fan base,” the letter said, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “Our alumni and current players make their own individual decisions that reflect their views, and they do not necessarily represent the view of the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization. We appreciate your passion and your continued support of the team.”

The Terrible Towel crowd will be happy as long as he wins, but I'm guessing he'll alienate most everybody else like he has everywhere he's been. I don't know Kaaron personally of course, but everything I've seen or read about him for the last 10 years has strongly pointed to the likelihood that he is a total an unredeemable asshole.

I predict the Steelers will have a losing season. I never would want Aaron Rodgers on my team. He’s way past his prime and will probably be a season-long headache. He’s a selfish “me” guy.

Well, she's got a point, but can you imagine the chaos if, for example, Jimmy Jones did that? There's a reason you pay coaches so much and it's not so you can "help" them do their jobs or second-guess them live.

Or George Steinbrenner in the dugout?

Still, if she's got the temperament, knowledge and tact to make it work, more power to her. First year that she's been the principal owner and CEO of the Colts. 8–9 in 2024. We'll see.
