I know how much you appreciate nontraditional "beauty" representations :P :

:bs: I must nit-pick you on that, mate - beauty comes in a lot of forms, and Ilona certainly is one.
My beef is with the pageants stretching the bounds of traditional standards past recognition.

Eye of the beholder? Some would say that Ilona exceeds that criteria.

Whatever, we found your line.

We did not, but we've seen surfing dogs. It's not unusual at any of the beaches where dogs are allowed.

I wish we had them here as a distraction from the lack of football.

Interesting compromise:
https://sports.yahoo.com/article/transg ... 02424.html
... On Wednesday, the CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) announced a change in its rules for this weekend's championships. Under the new rules, a cisgender girl who is bumped from qualifying for an event final by a transgender athlete will still advance to compete in the finals. In addition, the federation said, any cisgender girl who is beaten by a transgender competitor will be awarded whichever medal she would have claimed had the transgender athlete not been competing....
Makes sense to me. Can't argue that cisgender "rights" are being violated, as TACO Don and AG Bondage allege.

It's good to know where you stand on boys competing against girls.

I think the entire issue affects only a very few people, but that it's a multifaceted issue that people want to make "one size fits all" for their own political reasons. I also think it depends somewhat on the sport. In general, though, I wouldn't let former males be eligible for womens' sports where there is a clear physical advantage that can't be reasonably overcome by the women competitors. Examples would be basketball, volleyball, football, etc. And it would depend on the person - a former male who transistioned several years ago, is completely reconstructed and is 5'4" and weighs 120 wouldn't necessarily be excluded from womens' sports; anybody 6' 200lbs who still has a dick should be excluded. Make it work like PED use or steroids, not politics.

I'm pretty sure that CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) also has a definition for transgender. Idk what it is.

What are some sports that women can compete with men on an even playing field?

I think billiards is one.

Bowling, maybe?

Chess, for sure.

Horse racing (jockeys).

High school wrestling.
Hockey, if you follow Survivor Eva, who played mens hockey at Georgia Tech and Brown.
But it's not really whether a given woman could compete in a mens sport. There are many examples, and those women are exceptional. It's whether a person who for most of their lives had the advantage of male growth, musculature, strength, etc. and then becomes female should be able to compete against naturally-occurring females. I'm not going to argue the culture wars as to whether they're "real" females or whether we should call them he's she's or them's, but a person who got years of "different" development and is now taller, heavier, and more muscular than any of the other teamates or competitors has an unfair advantage just like the steroid-infused players and should not be eligible.

I'm not sure, but:

All horse sports, not just racing
Field Hockey
Skydiving
Any gun competition
Archery
Softball
Gymnastics
Diving
Curling
Figure skating
Skiing
I've watched, and known, some amazing women climbers. Idk how they compare with men or how well trans women do (or would do).

I dunno if softball and gymnastics would count. Sure you can have mixed softball teams but a formerly male player with baseball strength and experience might not be fair. Gymnasts in male and female classes have overlapping but different events, with the men's having more strength components. It would be fun to see a male compete against the females in their events though. Probably get their ass dusted.

Men MIGHT be superior in softball hitting and fielding, but there have been some crazy good female softball pitchers.

True that. I saw recently that a pitcher for (I think) Tennessee set a record at 79mph. Given the difference in distance from the mound to the plate, that's equivalent to 105mph in baseball.
