I have another theory.....perhaps the TN state police ran his name in their computer, saw he was a member of a protected class of immigrants (remember the immigration court order from years ago providing him temporary asylum and protection from deportation?). Once they saw that info, I bet they said to themselves....."wouldn't make sense for this guy to smuggle people into the country since he came here to get away from those people" type conversation. And maybe at that point the cops decided those guys on I-40 really were a work crew coming back from MS. Just a theory. At least it's not cultist nonsense, but a rational scenario. Hopefully, they'll ask the two cops involved in the incident. If they don't ask them, you can be pretty sure this is all made up for an audience of yours.
Plus, the TN trooper would not have been able to PROVE that KAG's passengers were undocumented during a traffic stop. Anyone can leave a birth certificate or green card at home. If this gets as far as a trial the case will get thrown out as soon as the cop is called to testify. As I said, charges trumped up by a MAGAt US Attorney.
