In an ideal Republican dimension there would be no taxes and no government social services, because the benevolent wealthy would apply their charity where needed. George Soros has given away over $8 billion to human rights, public health, and education causes.

Soros started as a poor immigrant and managed to educate himself, and went on to be a highly successful business man. He played a significant role in the peaceful transition from communism to capitalism in Hungary.

No wonder Solar so irked; Soros is the paragon of Republicanism, without being a Republican. He's a self-made billionaire, the capitalism success story that Solar will never be.

Then again, Soros and his family successfully fled the Nazis. Judging from Solar's comments and how he "moderates" his forum, that probably irks him more than anything.

Yep, I think one of the main origin points was Steve Emerson on Sean Hannity
saying a source told him about the Saudi national. Then it was on Beck and other
nutjob sites and then onto the local nutters like CPF, who just swallowed the whole
thing without a second thought. These idiots couldn't critical think their way out of
a wet paper bag. Now they're talking about the "Chechin." The stupid never stops.

What I don't get is their intense to desire to be led by the nose. None of them seem to have any desire to think for themselves. And the fact that they would continue to worship at the feet of a cretin like Solar who prohibits them from questioning demonstrates what little self-worth they have. It's like an on-line version of Jonestown over there. They were bitching and moaning about an article that pointed out that if it turns out that the bombers are anything other than white Americans, that the response will be bigotry toward whatever group the bombers happen to have any loose association with. After all that bitching and moaning about the article, they've proven the author correct. That little old lady from Campobello, Keyboarder immediately launched into a discussion of why immigrants are to blame. American citizens kills thousands of people a year, but when two wayward immigrants commit a crime, it's time to blame all of them. Clueless is an understatement. At their core they're bigots. There are a number of curious things about the LE version of what happened during Thrursday and Friday. First, these two hijacked a Mercedes SUV and threw hand grenades and bombs from it during the police chase. Where did these hand grenades and bombs come from? At least one report said that one of the bombs was a pressure cooker bomb. I'm wondering how they could have carried all of these armaments around with them before they hijacked the vehicle. A pressure cooker by itself is pretty heavy. That would not be possible. Also, LE ran out of ammunition before these two did. That's a lot of ammunition to be carrying around. Weren't they supposed to be on foot when they stole the vehicle? There's a picture of Supect two in a service station just prior to the hijacking in which he is wearing a yellow t shirt. It doesn't look as if he could hide all of these weapons on his person.

The person on the ground which was shown repeatedly on Thursday night/Friday morning had no visible bullet wounds/holes in his clothing and there was no blood. He appeared to be wearing a suit. He was not shown just once, but numerous times for minutes each time.
The media kept saying that he was face down on the ground because he had been ordered to get there and that he was one of the suspects. During the entire time and numerous camera shots, he did not move a muscle. He was in a driveway, not in the street, He did not have tire prints on his body. I should think if he had just been run over, there would be some sign of it. I don't know who he was, nor why he was on the ground. I'm just reporting what I saw on TV.
Both of these questions are mysteries to me. I have no suggestions to explain them.

Say that it is a conspiracy. Wouldn't that mean that the Muslims, though not Arab, are innocent and the likely perps are white American rightwingers? Some folks just don't think their craziness through to a logical endpoint even by their own standards.

slips into the background, the wingnuts are now onto the latest thing from the
nutjob press: The FBI supposedly looking for a 12 member cell out there somewhere.
Of course this comes from the usual suspects who were onto the Saudi national.
(And then there was the they wouldn't allow the younger brother to live nonsense).
Think the nutters would be a little cautious after their original screwups? Nope, they
just double down on the stupid. One thinks the whole thing was set up by our
government. Another wonders where the brothers got all their luxury cars, apparently
not aware that the Mercedes was carjacked. And another thinks there is an Iranian
connection. They just can't believe the mundane reality. It's kooky conspiracy time
and the nutters are running at full speed.

view, at least so far. The Iranian connection is fading, and that one nutjob
theory that the U.S. was somehow behind it never picked up much steam, even
in crazyville. Yesterday they were suspicious about the guy who was carjacked
by the brothers. He might be in on it too. Yeah, whatever. But Beck is still
plugging along on the Saudi national with some kind of "exclusive" sources. Yeah,
whatever cry baby.

Still too early to tell definitely, but this is starting to look like a amateur job that
the brothers did themselves. If they were pros and memebers of a terror cell,
wouldn't they be hundreds of miles outside of Boston by Monday night, instead of
going about their business for the next few days?
