... “The Ten Commandments are a cornerstone of our moral and legal heritage, and their presence in classrooms serves as a reminder of the values that guide responsible citizenship,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement. He pledged to appeal Wednesday’s ruling.
Worst AG in the country.
Democrat AG caught on bodycam berating police officer, hilarity ensues when she learns no one is above the law
Here's some friendly advice. If you are a statewide prosecutor, especially in a tiny state like Rhode Island, and you are being asked to leave a restaurant... leave quietly. It is not going to work out for you if you make a scene, especially when that scene is being recorded by a police officer's body cam footage. Should you not follow that advice, DEFINITELY don't pull the "do you know who I am" card. https://www.louderwithcrowder.com/rhode ... ey-general
She said she was an AG. The officer said he didn't give a shit.
I never knew that Mary gets a birthday party, 9/8. Here I missed it and didn't even send a card.
Trump’s policies would have turned away Mary and baby Jesus
Hell, he'd have turned them over to Herod.
Not before arresting both, separating Jesus from Mary, then deporting both.
Is this dudes job as VP to retweet everything Trump tweets. Most useless and pathetic politician in a while. In my life time Cheney was supposed to be bad, Vance is a bootlicker…No spine at all.
I read something the other day about how more than a few Christian fanatics predicted the "second coming" of Jesus either on the 24th or 25th of September. Opps! Looks like Jesus missed the cloud he'd planned to use getting here. The story I read noted that some of them had quit their jobs in anticipation of the grand event....they "wanted to be with my family." I wonder what they'll do now?

The Pope’s no dope — at least when it comes to calling out MAGA’s hypocrisy.
Pope Leo XIV on Tuesday strongly criticized President Donald Trump’s cruel immigration policies and their supporters by suggesting that they don’t seem very “pro-life.”
“Someone who says ‘I’m against abortion but says I am in favor of the death penalty’ is not really pro-life,” Leo said. “Someone who says that ‘I’m against abortion, but I’m in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States,’ I don’t know if that’s pro-life.”
There's always time for some Levity :
Press secretary Karoline Leavitt — a devout Catholic who is regularly photographed wearing a cross and prays with her staff before her press briefings — pushed back at Leo’s remarks during a press conference at the White House on Wednesday.
“I would reject there was inhumane treatment of illegal immigrants in the United States under this administration,” Leavitt swiftly shot back before taking a page out of MAGA’s playbook by deflecting.
“There was significant inhumane treatment of illegal immigrants in the previous administration,” Leavitt claimed while attacking the right’s favorite scapegoat, former President Joe Biden....
War does not solve problems; on the contrary, it amplifies them and inflicts deep wounds on the history of peoples, which take generations to heal. No armed victory can compensate for the pain of mothers, the fear of children, or stolen futures. May diplomacy silence the weapons! May nations chart their futures with works of peace, not with violence and bloodstained conflicts!
“Yea the Pope definitely didn’t vote for Trump in 2024 lmao."
“Folks, it’s truly the end times: I followed the pope .”
... The pope’s tweet echoes remarks he made over the weekend during his regular Sunday address at the Vatican, in which he criticized the “alarming news” of Trump’s decision to bomb Iran. In his Sunday address, Leo also expressed his fear that the escalating drama in the Middle East would overshadow the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
“The daily suffering of the population—especially in Gaza and other territories—risks being forgotten, even as the need for adequate humanitarian aid becomes ever more urgent,” he said.
Da' Woke Pope has a nice rhythm to it.
Lament the murder, not the murdered.
