Republican hypocrisy

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

If she is Pat Summerall's daughter then that makes her brother the new UF head football coach.

We don't hear much from Susie Wiles but this won't put her in DonOLD's good graces.

I also didn't know she was Pat Summerall's daughter.

:D I always thought she was too smart for this crowd. Hard to figure.....she drops bombs on some of them and instead of lying and whining in response, as usual, they lavish praise on her. Let's see how long that lasts.

Maybe she knows where the bodies are buried :o . Tbh, Idk what's up with the praise, but an MS pundit posits that Wiley Wiles did the interview in an attempt to create a record of separation from MAGA's crimes. It's the Sergeant Schultz defense - "I know (see, hear) nothing!"

JD Vance Fires Back — Says He Hopes Trump Admin Has Learned ‘Lesson’ After Susie Wiles Called Him a ‘Conspiracy Theorist’ in Vanity Fair

... The political world was rocked by Wiles’s explosive tell-all with the outlet. In it, she referred to Office of Budget and Management Director Russell Vought as a “right-wing absolute zealot,” claimed that President Donald Trump had “an alcoholic’s personality,” and even denied Trump’s previous claims that former President Bill Clinton visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island.

Wiles also called Vance’s support for Trump “sort of political,” and added that the vice president had been “a conspiracy theorist for a decade.” ...
:---P :---P :---P

Aha, it's the media's fault for reporting and quoting accurately. Bad media.

We'll see, MAGA so far is not as forgiving of Wiley Wiles.

I saw on the news tonight she's now saying she was taken "out of context" but the interviewer was on there and said all the conversations were recorded so he has the record of what was actually said. And the other day trump sued BBC for ten billion dollars. Hilarious. He says their edit of his remarks is election interference....his latest LAW....anything he doesn't like is election interference. He is an expert at it, you know.

An MS pundit makes the same point that you do. Whenever they whine "out of context", "fake news", "misinterpreted", etc without a denial we know that they were quoted accurately. This is why some segment of MAGA is so angry - they know that Wiley Wiles and Vanity Fair told the truth. Fwiw, sometimes it's the truth when there is a denial, but there may not be a recording of that.

You've been saying that she'll decide that she's had enough and quit. She's got her off ramp now if she wants it. Easy for her to say, "It was not my intent, but I've caused embarrassment to the president. So, I'm resigning in order to not be a distraction as he continues to Make America Great Again." We'll see.

Trump: Drops the hard "R" live in camera.

News: Audiences stunned as Trump yells slur. Is the president okay?

Trump: Negative coverage! Unfair! Election interference!

Polls: Trump approval rating sees slight boost.

None of us bet on Oingo Bongino, or his bosses Ka$h and Blondage for that matter. So, IMO the pool is still active. If any of us had bet on Signalgate Waltz it would have been tricky deciding whether his demotion/lateral move to the UN was a firing, but we didn't.

Recap:
neoplacebo - Wiley Wiles
GoCubsGo, O Really - Jagoff
Vrede - KINO

Ever since trump announced his blockade on oil tankers to or from Venezuela, I've been laughing to myself and wondering if pistol Pete will once again reveal military operational plans in another Signalgate fiasco. And I decided that it he did it again, he'd have to go.
