They almost look identical!

Tbh Montana-Clark did it better. Last seconds of a Playoff game that SF won by 1 point vs the 12-4 Cowboys, and a cool Name. However, Caleb-Moore was a great unnamed connection in a non-Playoff rout vs the 3-10 Browns.

Yep, the situation made the difference. But to go forty plus years without a similar type play is in itself pretty mind boggling.

Chicago is "better" for doing it over 22 yards rather than just 7. Lot more time for DBs to track it down.

Bears again expand stadium search, including outside Illinois

Three days before hosting their biggest game at Soldier Field in years, the Chicago Bears are exploring moving outside the city for which they are named.

In an open letter to fans Wednesday evening, team president and CEO Kevin Warren said the Bears will explore other locations -- including outside of Cook County, where the team owns a 326-acre property in Arlington Heights, Illinois -- to build a domed stadium.

That includes moving the Bears out of Illinois altogether.

"In addition to Arlington Park, we need to expand our search and critically evaluate opportunities throughout the wider Chicagoland region, including Northwest Indiana," Warren said....
BLASPHEMY!
Not long after closing on the land in Arlington Heights, the team began exploring options for a new stadium site when it announced its plans to build at the Arlington Park site were "at risk" as negotiations over property taxes reached a $100 million impasse.

Shortly before the 2024 draft, the Bears shifted their focus to building their new stadium on the lakefront south of Soldier Field and announced they would invest more than $2 billion in private money into the construction and development of the stadium and surrounding areas.

Although the team has maintained that the construction of a new stadium will be privately funded, concerns over the burden placed on taxpayers to fund the infrastructure around the stadium led to an impasse. That led the Bears to once again explore Arlington Heights as an option, which Warren announced during league meetings in April. Ahead of the Bears' home opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 8, Warren released a letter to fans, saying the team's sights were set on building in Arlington Heights. He has said throughout the year that the goal was to break ground before the end of 2025.

However, the Bears have been in a battle with lawmakers over tax breaks and securing $855 million in public funding to build the new stadium.

Ordinarily I don't have a problem with suburban stadium locations, by yeah Indian effin ana is totally unacceptable. They are hereby warned: go to Indiana and you'll be doomed forever to my special list of Hell inhabited by the likes of the imposter pretend "Colts" and the team formerly and still occasionally referred to as the 'Skins. Even the hated Cowboys or teams that make Taylor cry don't make it to that list. You have been warned - no Indiana!

Illinoisans would be repulsed.

Illinois is a weird state when it comes to financing stadiums.

They (we) don't do it.

Reinsdorf tried this ploy in the early 90's threatening to take the White Sox to St. Pete. He folded but did get some limited assistance.

The Ricketts rehabbed Wrigley without public money.

I'm OK with the Bears in Arlington Heights, it's actually a nice spot with good access.

Soldier Field is a nice place to watch a game and as scenic as it gets, but the parking and access is unfixable. It's a mile walk to the train and an hour's wait to get in and out of the very limited parking lots.

It's also the smallest venue in the NFL and compared to domes for a city comparable to Chicago, underutilized.

The Hawks might've been given an NFL gift.

This was outside of two minutes and wasn't a scoring play.

It wasn't subject to an official review, yet it was an official review.

Idk whether it should have been reviewed, but the ruling is correct.

Zach Charbonnet, the intended receiver, gets the 2 points after all, just for casually picking up the ball.

Seahawks now lead the Bears by 1 1/2 for NFC #1  .

I was actually rooting for a tie.

The Bears would've controlled their own destiny for the #1 seed by winning out.

Now they'll need help from San Fran or the Panthers.

:D 2 teams I also like, with the Panthers especially at risk of missing out.

When did the whistle blow? Did the Rams have a chance to make a play for the still live ball?

They said on the broadcast that the whistle didn't blow and the Rans had multiple opportunities.

Everyone thought it was an incomplete pass.

Everyone except the refs. Did they call it a good conversion and is that why they were able to review the play?

"Play until the whistle," may be a cliche, but that doesn't make it any less valid.

Don't think so, they never signaled successful conversion.

Pretty sure it all came from upstairs.
