Donny, are you ok?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Meanwhile, two cults gush in awe....one of oligarchs in Russia and their underlings; the other in the US of oligarchs hoping to emulate the type of deal their Russian counterparts have, along with the idiotic brainwashed fools who vote for the rapid demise of their own existence. But the gushing never stops.

:D  FDR was hoping to calm an anxious nation. DonOLD does the opposite.

I had an elderly, intubated, former stockbroker patient in the ICU. As the evening wore on she became increasingly agitated and it seemed she was trying to communicate something to me. I gave her paper and pen and she scrawled out "Sell". I assured her that I would and she settled right down. If only it was so easy with Dementia Don.

They need to plop down a busy board in front of him. Let him think he's doing super important presidential things. Tell him that all the world loves him and he's made America great again. Let him push buttons and make pretend phone calls. Give him more make believe trophies like that FIFA peace prize.

Great minds . . .
I was wondering if there wasn't some way to make him think he was posting to the web when he wasn't.

Lashing out and making up stuff early on a Saturday, can't understand why?

Guess his truce with Walz is over too.
The Theft and Fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the 19 Billion Dollars originally projected. The Biden Administration knew this FRAUD was happening, and did absolutely nothing about it. "Scammer" Illhan Omar and her absolutely terrible friends from Somalia should all be in jail right now or, far worse, send them back to Somalia. "Governor" Waltz is either the most CORRUPT government official in history, or the most INCOMPETENT. Even a very low IQ person, of which there are many, should have known what was going on in Minnesota!!! President DJT

The ‘mad king’: has Trump finally lost it?

TIL
“Trump has the world’s most consequential case of untreated logorrhea,” said Susan B. Glasser in The New Yorker. According to a new study, in this first year of his second term he has spoken 1,977,609 words in presidential appearances – 145% more than in the first year of his first term.

In his speech in Davos last week, he rambled on for a full hour and a half. In the course of his address he, among other things, explained that only “stupid people” buy wind turbines, and admitted that he had decided to raise tariffs on Switzerland because its prime minister – “a woman” – had “rubbed me the wrong way”. He also kept confusing Iceland and Greenland. Americans are somewhat inured to Trump’s “manic performance art”, but the stunned reaction of Europeans should be a wake-up call. Many there were openly asking: has this man lost his mind? Is he still capable of running the US?

Why would it even still be a question? Consider if your father, uncle, or friend acted like Trump and displayed the same ummm "eccentricities", would you even think "oh, he's OK - just dad being dad"?

Thought pretty much the same.

This is the one deranged uncle we can't ignore at Thanksgiving.

History is full of examples of kings and emperors and other leaders going completely off the rails and behaving like complete morons while everyone in the court acts like everything is normal and fine. I used to think we were lucky to live in a period of time where we had overcome such things. Nah, not at all. We're seeing it play out right in front of our eyes.

There's a lot more "sane washing" of Trump in American media compared with other countries as well, I think. That doesn't help.

Yeah, that's the thing Supes and his lot refuse to grasp. Even if you really really liked his ummm, "policies" or at least his intentions, it's hard for rational people not to see he's gone over the edge.

I've already predicted he'll go to an extreme sometime before the November elections. the FBI raid in GA the other day seems to be the first flash of stupid toward trying to steal another election. I expect that it will only intensify in the next nine months. Probably also do something in Cuba in Iran just to "flood the zone" as is his wont.

We certainly witnessed this for four years of the Biden administration.

In unguarded moments he's as much as said that he hopes there's enough protest (caused by him) for him to invoke the Insurrection Act and cancel elections.

Well, maybe more like two years. But in any casedo you: (1) approve of the Biden coverup or (2) disapprove of the Trump coverup. Can't have it both ways.
