Iran War

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

The other day I got a great and wonderful prize from Iran. It arrived last night and is worth a tremendous amount of money. But I'm not gonna say what it is. And I expect to get prizes (WONDERFUL PRIZES) on a regular basis. I may or may not tell what they are.

They can afford it. Thanks to controlling Hormuz Iran is now selling more oil than before the war  , and they're selling it for a higher price. Thanks, MAGA.

The neat thing about being a belligerent in a fight against the United States right now is you can bank on the US military to ramp things up after the markets close on Friday, and to ramp them back down before they open on Monday.

He's telling us we need to buy a bunch of index funds Monday when the market bottoms out before he makes his announcement early Tuesday morning that he's made headway in his make believe negotiations with Iran. Time to get rich boys.

I don't like the idea of ground troops in Iran. However, it is imperative the leadership of radical Islamist must be removed. They are irrational and self preservation is not a concept they understand.

Not sure what that is supposed to mean.

At the moment, they're acting more rational than the "leader" of the United States.

Take a look around, don't you find it just a bit odd that none of our allies (other than Israel who led DonOld around by the nose), either in Europe or the middle east, who btw are being attacked has joined us in offensive operations including opening the Strait?

Why do you think that is?

The typical response from the EU. Ignore it and it will go away. How often has that position turned out to be false? I do not agree that current Iranian leadership (whoever that may be) is rational.

Your ignorance and slavish obedience to your masters is noted. Please ignore the fact that NATO joined us after 9/11.

What about our "allies" in the middle east? This should be their fight as much or more than our fight.

BTW, Iran has about 250,000 effective ground troops and another 250,000 in reserve. How do you think our forces will fare as they won't be able to effectively re supply?

What happens after that?

You still haven't explained your bass ackwards claim. We've already proven if you chop the head off another pops up.

It is not my responsibility to eplain your lack of understanding. This issue in Iran is apples and oranges from 9/11.

I agree the middle east allies are late to the party, but it seems they may be coming around as Iran continues to hurl missiles and drones at them. Your statement about Iranian troops is understood. Hence my reluctance for US ground troops.
