I think they quite literally said the ceasefire is still in effect despite launching attacks. We're just making up reality now. Wouldn't be suprised at this point if the US just cancels all action against Iran and says there was never a war and the strait of Hormuz has never been more open in all of history than it has under Trump.
I think that's way more likely than one would ordinarily believe.
More likely is declare victory and go home then tout their "success" in the next election.
