If they're anywhere close to ICE efficiency they'll steal money from American citizens.
Illegal Immigrants and Foreign Fraudsters steal BILLIONS every year from the American Taxpayer. As part of my Administration's Historic effort to end FRAUD and reverse MASS ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, I recently signed a powerful new Executive Order, which will be led by the Treasury Department, to stop Banks, Credit Cards, and Financial Institutions from being used to facilitate Human Smuggling, Drug Trafficking, Illegal Immigration, and the Criminal Cartels who orchestrate these activities. Access to our Nation's Financial Systems must be limited to those who have a Legal Right to be here, and who are engaged in Lawful and Legitimate Commerce. Bank Accounts being used to enable Illegal Immigration, or to store the Welfare received by Illegal Aliens, will be shut down, and funds will ultimately face Impoundment and Seizure so they can to be returned to Taxpayers. It is not ludicrous, but profoundly dangerous, that any Illegal Alien can simply present a Blue State Drivers License, or Biden Border Document, and have unrestricted access to the U.S. Financial System. This also sends a clear message to the anti-ICE rioters that your violent disruptions are only strengthening our resolve. My Executive Order will also allow us to stop Billions in leaving our Country in all manner of criminal activity. It has been said this measure we are taking is the most effective means of reversing Biden's Border Invasion. We shall soon find out! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Maybe trump really is a Russian agent.....Russia was about the only place in the world trump didn't put a tariff on last year. He's strongly resisted helping Ukraine for years, even childishly treating Ukraine's president. Since his big adventure in Iran, trump has lifted sanctions on Russian oil. There's probably half a chance trump will flee to Russia before this time next year.
... Republican senators say they have no oversight over the president’s choice of people to serve as acting Cabinet-level officials, but they signaled Pulte could have a tough time getting 51 votes to be confirmed as intelligence director for a longer term....
“I do not know Mr. Pulte at all. I don’t know whether he has any intelligence or military background. I don’t even know whether he has a security clearance,” she (Sen. Susan Collins) said Tuesday, appearing surprised by the pick.
Pulte has emerged as one of the most controversial members of the Trump administration for his role in plumbing mortgage records to review whether Trump’s political adversaries have followed mortgage laws.
He has advanced allegations against Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook, whom President Biden appointed to serve as the first Black woman at the central bank, as well as James and Schiff.
Abbe Lowell, a lawyer for Cook and James, has described Pulte’s efforts to raise allegations against the New York attorney general as “outrageous government conduct” and a violation of the Fifth Amendment.
Lowell accused Pulte in a letter to the Justice Department of targeting Trump’s enemies after he sent two criminal referrals related to Cook to federal prosecutors.
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), a member of the Senate Banking Committee, said Tuesday he was not a fan of Pulte’s efforts to pin fraud charges on Cook.
“I got a real issue with that. I think it’s a waste of time and money that he appears to have been part of,” Tillis said....

I wouldn't want it named for Moron Don and don't know if the cost will be worth it, but if there was a footbridge to the river back when I was knocking around the Mall, I would have used it. Even a broken clock . . .

... The dismissal on Friday was granted under Washington’s Anti-SLAPP laws, which are designed to prevent meritless lawsuits intended to silence opposing points of view on matters of public interest.
I think Anti-SLAPP laws often include attorneys' fees, though the article doesn't mention it.
Redd, a drummer and vibraphone player who has toured with everyone from Dizzy Gillespie to Ray Brown, had presided over holiday “Jazz Jams” at the Kennedy Center since 2006. He called off last year’s performance shortly after Trump’s handpicked board at the Kennedy Center voted to add the president’s name to the facility.
ETTD, even Christmas Eve.
... The motion to dismiss, filed in March, argued that Redd wasn’t contractually obligated to perform. It included the contract provided by the Kennedy Center, which the artist never signed....

So I have complained before about the ubiquitous coverage of all things Tru*p, and particularly in presenting/discussing things clearly ridiculous or false as serious presidential commentary. Add this one to the tall stack:
"Meet the Democrat Emerging as Top 2028 Contender"
And what is the accompanying picture? Not the "emerging contender." Not a representation of the Democratic Party. Not some generic image of election contests. The best image they could come up with for that headline was

Is this a childish to the judge who ordered his name's removal and the people who came to witness it?

Is this a childish to the judge who ordered his name's removal and the people who came to witness it?
... As crews began draping tarps over the scaffolding early Saturday last weekend, people gathered below chanted “Shame!”
During one such protest, a demonstrator speaking to WUSA9 suggested repurposing the covering as a form of public spectacle.
“We should take down the tarp so we can actually see that his name is down from the Kennedy Center,” the protester said. “If it was long enough, let’s cover up the reflecting pool with it… I think it’d be a great use of that tarp that has no business being up in front of the center right now.” ...
