 Looks like it could be a habitual offer of a hand to women in heels navigating steps. I'll give him a pass.
Is she still alive? ;)

Gangel: In March, Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan go to the oval office for a formal sit down interview with the president. He's very proud about some presidential historian has given him this document, which he says shows he's more powerful than Hitler and Stalin.
He's proudly reading it and showing it to them, and they can't figure out who the presidential historian is. And they start searching. Name doesn't show up. But the president had said that this historian was a friend of former hall of fame golfer Gary Player. So they search…the historian is Gary Player's former caddie.
:headscratch: I wondered, too. It's a very common name. I found this, which seems like a more likely candidate than a caddie:GoCubsGo wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 7:56 pmNo words....EXCEPT 25TH NOW!https://x.com/Acyn/status/2067730805749916030Gangel: In March, Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan go to the oval office for a formal sit down interview with the president. -0-? Nothing about being a "presidential" specialist. I also note that most of the essay applies to any POTUS. It doesn't go much out of its way to extol Moron Don's achievements.David King (historian)
David King (born 1970) is an American historian and writer. He lives in Lexington, Kentucky[1] and has taught European History at the University of Kentucky. He authored the books: Finding Atlantis (2005), Vienna 1814 (2008), and Death in the City of Light: The Serial Killer of Nazi-Occupied Paris (2011).
BREAKING: Trump’s sick bedroom habits and life with Melania EXPOSED in bombshell new book!
Seems that behind closed doors, Donald Trump is pretty friggin’ gross. According to the new book from NYT reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, the commander-in-chief’s private White House nighttime routine includes multiple snack disasters, trash strewn all over, soaked bathroom carpets, and staff scrambling to keep the place clean without going bonkers.
Called Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump, the new book discloses that staff even had to start monitoring the trash after Trump was allegedly caught throwing out White House sterling silver utensils, about as a clear a case of waste, fraud, and abuse of governmental resources as we’ve ever heard.
The book also claims Trump insisted on having carpet in the bathroom, including near the shower, where staff worried about moisture and mold. Because (and we’re believing Haberman and Swan here) he won't use a normal bath mat like a normal human being, staff is obliged to surreptitiously rotate pieces of matching carpet, drying them out, and swapping them back in.
From there, the journalistic dynamic duo move into the, ahem, bedrooms, reporting that Trump and Melania most certainly do not share one.
In what should surprise no one, they report that Mel has taken the traditional master bedroom, while Trump is relegated to the “second floor living room” next door.
Thus exiled, they write, Trump took keen interest in some cool furnishings of the master bedroom, and moved items Melania had personally selected into his own room, and pooh-poohed the hapless staff when they uncomfortably pointed this out.
“Once, when staff gently reminded the president that he was taking things his wife had personally selected, he made clear he didn’t care,” the intrepid investigators wrote. “He seemed almost to be competing with her – determined to have the better room.”
Er, yes, this is an amusing insight into *chez* Trump, but lest we forget, working Americans are worrying about bills, health care, housing, and democracy itself.
Trump, conversely, is spending his off hours reportedly in combat with his maids over Starbucks bags, Mickey-D’s wrappers, and bathroom carpets, not to mention the art objects he covets from his wife next door.
Does this surprise us? No. Should the likes Donald Trump be President of the United States? No.
If it's Haberman and Swan I'm inclined to believe it.Trump said he was talking to a historian. It was Gary Player’s caddy
Haberman and Swan conclude with the president telling them about a historian introduced to him by golfer Gary Player who described the president as the most powerful man the planet had ever known — surpassing even Alexander the Great, William the Conqueror and Napoleon.
Trump, who promoted the anecdote himself on social media Thursday, was unable to recall the historian’s name during that interview. However, a White House staffer later revealed to the authors who the golf legend actually had been talking about. It was Player’s longtime caddy.
Fair enough, but I have questions:GoCubsGo wrote: Fri Jun 19, 2026 12:17 amGood read.

crats? That useless orange fuck is off his rocker.Whack9 wrote: Sat Jun 20, 2026 10:14 pm I just opened the websites of a few major American news outlets. Every single one has a headline about the fucking reflecting pool. I want you all to take a step back for a moment and reflect about how stupid and meaningless and inconsequential the fucking reflecting pool is to anything important in the US or the world, yet its been dominating headlines thanks to that useless orange fuck.
Many additional people have been arrested having to do with the disgraceful Vandalism of our beautiful Reflecting Pool. It hasn't looked or worked like this since 1922, when it was originally built, but even then, it leaked badly, and didn't work. Ours worked perfectly, including the mirror like finish, perfectly reflecting the two Great Monuments, which it never had before! What these terrible Vandals have done is a true affront to both Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and should be dealt with accordingly. We met with contractors today, will probably be forced to release and drain much of the water in order to do the necessary repairs, but will have them done as quickly as possible. What they have damaged does not even include the earlier killing of a large amount of grass which was, by far, the least of it. They took some form of knife or blade, and put a 250 foot long gash into the beautiful facade of what took so much work, competence, and money to build and complete. They also poured corrosive and destructive chemicals into the Pool. The Reflecting Pool was never so beautiful as it was just one week ago, even going back to 1922 when it opened. We are very proud of what we have done with this magnificent structure, and we will get it repaired, quickly, to an equal level of Beauty. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
