Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Will his staff and family make his outing official?
Was he poisoned by Putin while visiting Kyiv?
He was a dedicated anti-Iran hawk. Karma? Allah Akbar.
Thus begins Whack9's month of devastated mourning. Did he ever know a SC where Lindsey wasn't his Sen? So sorry.

Hell is apparently offering specials this week.
Or maybe he's just the latest example of ETTD.

Literally.
TV speculation: Nancy Mace might go for the seat.

I'm getting old.
Sam Neill, the star of blockbuster Jurassic Park and a Hollywood veteran of several decades, has died aged 78.
The New Zealand actor, who was best known for playing Dr Alan Grant in the dinosaur franchise, died in Sydney, Australia, on Monday.
His Jurassic Park costar Laura Dern described him as "my beloved lifetime friend," adding, "He showed me the depths of loyalty, protectiveness and love always with the driest of wit. He was a true and noble gentleman, wrapped up in my dream leading man. I will love you forever, Dr. Alan Grant."

Previous political experience consists of her having appeared at lightloafer Lindsey's campaign events to say Lindsey did a good job raising here after their parents died. Seriously.

Pretty astute move by McMaster. SC reoublicans get to select a conservative candidate for the next term.

My immediate knee jerk reaction is that its really strange to appoint an immediate family member to a senate position as it reeks of nepotism, but it looks like it's been done before, albeit not super common. It sounds like it's generally done when there's a short stint left in the term, and done so as to not give possible candidates any incumbency advantage when the election happens shortly after the appointment.
I was worried someone like Nancy Mace would get the appointment.

I did not realize who this guy was until I saw a tribute to him on the news. But now I do remember him; he played the XO under Sean Connery in The Hunt For Red October. His Russian character wanted to live in Montana and have a pickup truck. RIP

He would have liked to have seen Montana.
