Well... I wasn't going to nerd people to death.... but what's happening is twitters website becomes embedded in this website. It's reaching out to twitters servers as if you went there directly. That ends up sharing information with twitter. Ads or not, he's getting some user data from people, tracking what websites you're coming from etc.

Having ad blockers enabled does mitigate some of it as it'll block some of the networks twitter uses to get information from you.

I'm like 1% of the population who actually cares about that stuff. Elon's rotten and I don't want to hand him a dime.

Twitter injects at least 30 different things into this page on the forum. (I decided to count)
