'Canes should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. For scheduling a kitten and for kicking it so hard.

Agree. However, it is still Miami. It is in their DNA regardless of coach.
As a UGA grad I am grateful Kirby Smart has a record of not covering the spread in "cupcake" games.

I wouldn't consider ACC Stanford a kitten. And everybody else is conference except Central Michigan. Don't know if they're a kitten or not. Last year they were mid-pack MAC.Vrede too wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2026 3:10 pm2 kittens 2 kicks. Next? All furries until Sat, Nov 7 and #3 Notre Dame?

But the Florida A&M beatdown was just despicable. I don't care if 'Canes had sent in all walk-on freshmen by halftime. They could have at least told the defense to ummm, make errors.

21 Oregon down15 after the stunning loss @Oklahoma State 39-31. Fair enough.
24 Oklahoma down13 after losing @19 Michigan 17-10. Seems rather harsh, but it's not like I care about Oklahoma.

Speaking of "no respect":
The BB effect?BB = Bye ByeMichael Lombardi resigns as GM of UNC football team
... Lombardi faced scrutiny on multiple occasions during his time in Chapel Hill, including in February 2025, when he boasted that the Tar Heels "consider ourselves the 33rd NFL team." He also made headlines last September, when he informed the Patriots that their scouts would be banned from access to the Tar Heels' program.
UNC gave Lombardi a salary of $1.5 million annually, making him the highest-paid general manager among public universities when he was hired....
North Carolina DC Steve Belichick resigns as investigation ends
Steve Belichick has resigned as North Carolina's defensive coordinator amid the conclusion of an internal investigation into the football program's culture under his father, head coach Bill Belichick.
UNC announced the findings of its investigation Thursday in conjunction with Steve Belichick's resignation, saying in a statement that the investigation "determined that certain actions demonstrated a disregard for Carolina's values and standards of conduct."
Yeah, riiight."These actions were isolated in scope and not a systemic failure," the school said in the statement. "...
According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the proceedings, the investigation was wide-ranging in scope and included questions about sex between staff and players as well as drug use within the program.
UNC, WTF?... Additionally, two UNC football players face charges after a traffic stop Tuesday. Keeyun Chapman was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, while C.J. Sadler was charged with speeding. A police report said that this was Sadler's third speeding citation in two months and that about 15 grams of marijuana was found in the vehicle.
Chapman has been suspended indefinitely, according to the school, and both players are listed as "out" on North Carolina's availability report for this week's game at Clemson....
At least we're not talking about BB's cheerleader this year . . . so far.
