I wouldn't consider ACC Stanford a kitten. And everybody else is conference except Central Michigan. Don't know if they're a kitten or not. Last year they were mid-pack MAC.

But the Florida A&M beatdown was just despicable. I don't care if 'Canes had sent in all walk-on freshmen by halftime. They could have at least told the defense to ummm, make errors.

North Carolina DC Steve Belichick resigns as investigation ends

Steve Belichick has resigned as North Carolina's defensive coordinator amid the conclusion of an internal investigation into the football program's culture under his father, head coach Bill Belichick.

UNC announced the findings of its investigation Thursday in conjunction with Steve Belichick's resignation, saying in a statement that the investigation "determined that certain actions demonstrated a disregard for Carolina's values and standards of conduct."

Whatever the hell that means.

"These actions were isolated in scope and not a systemic failure," the school said in the statement. "...

Yeah, riiight.

According to multiple sources with direct knowledge of the proceedings, the investigation was wide-ranging in scope and included questions about sex between staff and players as well as drug use within the program.

... Additionally, two UNC football players face charges after a traffic stop Tuesday. Keeyun Chapman was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, while C.J. Sadler was charged with speeding. A police report said that this was Sadler's third speeding citation in two months and that about 15 grams of marijuana was found in the vehicle.

Chapman has been suspended indefinitely, according to the school, and both players are listed as "out" on North Carolina's availability report for this week's game at Clemson....

When Belichick was hired i felt it was going to be a circus and did not fit the Carolina mold. Time to cut their losses and start over. It will not get better.

NCAA's FBS Oversight Committee confirms that had replay 'protocols been followed,' Western Michigan would have beaten Michigan

The NCAA released a statement Wednesday after the committee met to discuss how Michigan was granted an extra second of game time for its improbable Hail Mary in its 13-12 win over Western Michigan. In the statement, the NCAA reaffirmed that it had no ability to overturn the result of the game — which the Mid-American Conference had requested.
