George Kittle stunned by Josh Allen stat after Christian McCaffrey makes NFL history
After Christian McCaffrey made NFL history, George Kittle was left stunned during a postgame interview after learning about Josh Allen's latest career milestone

... McCaffrey scored the 100th touchdown of his NFL career during San Francisco's 35-13 rout of the Miami Dolphins, leaping into the end zone with 3:10 left in the third quarter to become just the 29th player in league history to hit triple digits.

The milestone carried extra significance given the balance of his career, with exactly 50 of those touchdowns coming with Carolina and 50 with San Francisco, making McCaffrey just the third player ever to score at least 50 touchdowns with multiple teams, joining Randy Moss and Marshall Faulk....

That's some fine company.

Speaking to reporters alongside fullback Kyle Juszczyk after the game, Kittle was asked to reflect on McCaffrey's accomplishment and offered genuine amazement at the scale of it.

"It's insane. It's so sick," Kittle said. "100 touchdowns, like triple digits. The guy scored 600 points by himself. It's pretty cool." But the conversation quickly veered elsewhere when Kittle turned the discussion toward a different NFL milestone entirely.

"Did you see Josh Allen has 80 rushing touchdowns?" Kittle asked Juszczyk. "No, that's insane," Juszczyk replied.

... Kittle then circled back to acknowledge McCaffrey's own achievement, noting, "But Christian has 100, so... I think it's beginning of what will go down as a Hall of Fame career. I don't think he's going to end at 100, so he's going to continue to go down." Juszczyk agreed emphatically, "No, he will not end at 100."

Allen reached his own milestone earlier in the week, scoring his 80th career rushing touchdown on a 21-yard run during Buffalo's win over Houston, further cementing his status as the most prolific rushing quarterback in NFL history.

... McCaffrey's big day came as part of a dominant overall performance from San Francisco, who improved to 2-0 on the season behind another lopsided win.

Quarterback Brock Purdy was nearly perfect, completing 20 of 22 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing score of his own.

Kittle looked fully recovered from last season's Achilles injury, hauling in four catches for 80 yards and a touchdown, including a 12-yard score that put San Francisco up 21-6 early in the third quarter. His 2-yard catch on that drive also marked the 600th reception of his career.

Nice comeback. Remember when "Achilles injury" usually meant career-ending?
