... Along with facing a great team in the Irish, Belichick will have to ward off calls for his firing after a number of less-than-stellar performances by the team last year and at the start of this season.

Traders on Kalshi believed that there is a strong chance Belichick does not make it through the season with UNC, with a 42 percent chance that the weathered head coach will either resign or be fired by Dec. 1.

That probability jumps to 63 percent of occurring before the start of January 2027.

Notably, Belichick is under contract until Dec. 2029, though given how his tenure has gone so far, with the constant noise surrounding the program, there are questions about whether he will last until then....
