Ukraine

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Politicians (of both parties) can't resist quick fixes for long term issues.

Wow, Dozy Don is even a traitor to his own War of Choice.

In a related move Moron Don has also signed an executive order which temporarily allows off-road “dyed” diesel to be used on highways. The order is expected to expand access to tax-exempt fuel that's commonly used in agriculture. Farmers will now compete directly with truckers for diesel. Those leopards just keep coming.
U.S. Diesel Prices: $6.20 as of October 5, 2026.

That is up 65.1% from $3.75 a year earlier. The 2026 average so far is $5.04, compared with $3.66 for 2025. Over the past 52 weeks the price ranged from $3.46 (Jan 12, 2026) to $6.53 (Sep 21, 2026). The price is up 78.3% over 5 years (from $3.48) and up 159.5% over 10 years (from $2.39). The all-time high is $6.53, set on September 21, 2026; the latest price is 5.1% below it. The latest price is higher than on 100% of weeks since 1994.

It's absolutely shameful the way the US is treating Ukraine.

Remember Trump literally rolling out the red carpet for Putin?

Remember Trump proudly displaying a portrait of himself and Putin in the White House?

Now the US is threatening to cut off intelligence sharing with Ukraine unless they halt strikes on Russian energy infrastructure.

Then there are reports of Starlink being throttled for front line Ukrainian soldiers.

The bullshit they fed us about the United States being the champion of freedom and democracy against tyranny is shattered to pieces. The US is actively fawning over and supporting our biggest geopolitical foe, an authorian regime, which embodies the opposite of everything America claims to value.

And....I read this morning that Kushner and Witkoff are trying to get the EU to let the US "administer" the sveral billion in Russian Central Bank assets that were frozen by the EU. The EU told trump's laughable negotiators that the money will stay in Europe. Looks like trump told Putin he'd make sure Putin got his money back. Incredible.
