The doctors told him that he was not allowed to sleep because the blood clots made it unsafe so he was kept up all night and allowed to play a National Football League game in the afternoon? How does this make any sense?

Jalen Hurts was in the hospital the night before the Eagles game in London and did not sleep, per doctors orders. He was in the hospital in the middle of the night and played through all of that. All they knew at that time was that he had a superficial small blood clot.

It's "too dangerous" for him to sleep but they let him play? Somebody should at the least lose their job over that if not be prosecutes or sues for malpractice or maybe restricted to a diet of haggis for the rest of their life.

Fwiw, I have never heard of a correlation between blood clots and sleeping. We never restricted sleep for any of our emboli patients. Maybe it's an NHS thing.
