Pages are loading slow for me today and it made me login once.

In total there are 562 users online :: 8 registered, 3 hidden and 551 guests (based on users active over the past 15 minutes)
Most users ever online was 15533 on Fri Jun 12, 2026 9:53 pm

I was actually starting to wonder if the bots had just completely forgotten about us. My feelings were a little hurt.

I checked various graphs and yeah they were hitting pretty hard spaced out every 15 to 30 minutes. I said "BOO" so... maybe they'll calm down.

I fixed it by logging out and logging back in, the time a few days ago when BRD logged me out was a clue. Manageable, but an annoyance. Idk emoji

I'm sure you're clicking the "remember me" when logging in. I'll see if some settings have changed since our rebirth, or if I can extend anything.


EDIT, remember me should remember you for 200 days. Hrm..... clearing history could clear cookies, without those it could cause this.

No, "Forbidden" again. BRD logged me out a few days ago. That was my clue to just log myself out as a fix, successful. Yes, I always check the "remember me" box. I can try clearing cookies next time.

Ah, I should read more carefully. I never bother clearing cookies except to get around a paywall. No biggie, I can probably just use my logout/login strategy. It's me, not you . I'll still let you know, though.

Trying to limit how much stuff gets logged so I can actually find the block when it happens when someone reports it. I just can't find where it occurred in the logs for this instance.

I was "Forbidden" again when I tried to quote GoCubsGo.

Logging out and back in didn't fix it this time. I was able to make the post without quoting GoCubsGo. It's probably not the bots:
