He was listed as Independent and I almost voted for him just for his name. Went with Green for governor, got Marsha. I guess I could start sending here those "RESIGN"" letters like I used to. If she puts Hegseth in as a Senator, I will send her the "resign" thing and some other words.
It's time to refresh and polish your poison pen resume'.
I figure to use more graphic descriptors in any future communications to these people. Stuff like "....relishing the image of you dying on your knees in the barnyard with the others watching" in response to some wingnutty dictate. Or comparing a new policy to it being ".....like coming to on the side of a rural dirt road in the rain with no money, cancer, and a dead girlfriend." And for Marsha exclusively, I'll recall how several years ago I informed her that she could resolve the "open border" issue immediately if she'd only stand naked at the southern border for two weeks. No idea if all my past hate mail was intercepted and never delivered. Maybe I should turn to certified mail. Or maybe a Door Dash type thing......Neo Bash.

Remind me to never get on your bad side. Your compositions are like the black dot in Treasure Island.

"...like the black dot in Treasure Island" reminded me of some tv show I saw back in the summer about the history of the Mafia. They were talking about how people who had done something to piss off somebody who was important would get a "letter" in warning and it would have the symbol of a black hand at the end of the letter. Everybody knew it was bad to get one and if you did get one, you generally didn't brag about it.

... Taking after (Postal Inspector Frank) Oldfield's stance, victims stopped agreeing to victimization.
In one instance, Michael LoCascio was blackmailed for almost $6,000 in today's standard. LoCascio ambushed Black Hand boss Pietro "Silver King" Catalanetto, shooting and killing him....

Can executive privilege be extended to non-government employees and would the courts back the assertion? Idk
It would be something to argue over. Problem with Jared is that he did have some officially designated duties. But executive privilege can't be used to hide crime, so there are probably many opportunities to break it. Detailed information here:

Yes. Executive privilege can potentially extend to private citizens who are acting on behalf of the president, even if they are not government employees. However, the protection is limited and depends on the person's role and the nature of the communications.
The important distinction is that executive privilege protects certain presidential communications and governmental decision-making, not simply the individuals involved.
How it works
1. Government employees: Communications between the president and senior advisers generally receive the strongest protection under the presidential communications privilege.
2. Private citizens serving as presidential advisers: A private individual who is formally or functionally advising the president may potentially be covered. Government employment is not an absolute requirement.
3. Private individuals acting independently: Someone who is merely a political ally, personal friend, campaign associate, or outside supporter does not automatically receive executive privilege.
4. Communications unrelated to presidential duties: Personal, business, campaign, or other private activities generally do not qualify simply because the person has access to the president.
A particularly relevant legal development in 2026
The Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel issued an opinion in August 2026 specifically addressing this question: Applicability of Executive Privilege to Communications with Private Advisers.
The opinion concluded that presidential communications privilege can extend to communications with private, non-governmental advisers, provided they are genuinely advising the president on official presidential decision-making.
That is a significant distinction: a person does not necessarily have to be appointed to a government position or employed by the White House to have communications potentially protected.
Important limitations
There are several safeguards:
The president must actually invoke the privilege. It does not automatically attach to everything an adviser knows.
The communication must concern official presidential responsibilities, not political campaigning or private business.
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.
Thanks, guys, people have already put significant effort into the question I posed. Sounds like should Lame DonOLD Duck choose to assert EP, which he would, covers most policy - not how hot Ivanka is - comms with Jared.
I don't personally favour endless "investigations" that, even if successful don't change much. I say focus on top issues, stop the carnage, and pass some legislation even if it gets vetoed, and I override when you can. Overriding a veto is a way bigger show of power than a fairly toothless contempt of Congress charge.
