Is this some sort of joke or are you so delusional that you think you're making sense? Here's a hint, if everyone in the room is telling you you're too drunk to drive, it's time to hand over the keys. Sober up then see if you can make an intelligent response.Roland Deschain wrote:Question answered, argument shot, ohbutboy back to insults.....typical. Why does red or bold send you into a tailspin? He's responding to your comments. Why does that upset you?Roland Deschain wrote:Ooooh....bold and red and in two threads to boot. Must've struck a nerve.
By the way, I answered vrede's question. However, vrede seems to have some idea that if he disagrees with, or does no like the answer it was never given and continues to beat a dead horse. It's no wonder this is a dying forum, it's nothing more than a circle jerk for you three dumbfucks.

People as inconsequential as you can't strike a nerve. You can't strike anything. But your brain appears to know what a strike is ... and it's on one.
But go and imagine yourself competent some more. It's just so precious.

Kind of like a dumbed-down Comedy Central ... or Comedy Rightwingnut. I especially love your puerile "belly crawling scum worms" gems and then the even more puerile faulting of others for name calling. "Oh, the hypocrisy of it all."

Haven't seen an ass-kicking so thorough since I watched the North kick the South's ass on Glory a couple of weeks back.

Re: Gun Legislation
Maybe, but the facts do differ a little. The AZ guy does have a good story in that he had no kids living there and didn't expect visitors. Some, apparently the prosecutors, are willing to give him a pass for that. I, on the other hand, believe that if there are no kids living in his house, he can run around naked and smoke dope in his living room. But somehow I suspect if an "unexpected" visitor arrived, he'd manage to put on some clothes and hide his stash.Vrede wrote:NJ vs. AZ?

Re: Gun Legislation
I heard about NC House Bill 937 the other day but didn't believe it. Apparently, it's all true, though. This bill would allow guns on NC college and university campuses as long as they're locked up in a car (all NC college campus police chiefs, as well as the Attorney General are against it). Here's the best part......the bill will also eliminate the requirement for getting a license from your local sheriff before being able to purchase a handgun. Dumbasses.

Why would you not believe it? It's not even close to the most ridiculous proposals thus far from the Republican asylum. I think they are way past the point of being parodied - there isn't anything you can think up that's worse that things they're really doing, or trying to do.neoplacebo wrote:I heard about NC House Bill 937 the other day but didn't believe it. Uhhh, suspension of disbelief is generally something I don't indulge in unless under the influence of some dangerous and illegal substance. The idea that they want to let just anybody go into a sporting goods store and buy a handgun astounds me. I suppose the bestiality bill will come next.O Really wrote:Why would you not believe it? Well, not to defend the idiots, but the federal background checks would still be required at the sporting goods store. But without the permit requirement, most other non-official dealer places would be restriction-free.neoplacebo wrote:

Re: Gun Legislation
I saw a WLOS story last night about how the Canton Police Department is going to sell two 1920's vintage Thompson submachine guns; the story said they were used by the railroad guys when the payroll for the paper mill came in. Wonder if Roland will buy both of them. They were alluding to getting in excess of $20,000 each for them. See?

NC Pistol Purchase Permit law [edit]The Pistol Purchase permit law was passed in 1919. This law is considered, by most, a classic piece of the Jim Crow laws. Due to the recognition of civil rights for blacks and other minorities, they could exercise their natural right to self-defense with full support of the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution and Article I, Section 30, of the North Carolina Constitution. North Carolina passed the Pistol Purchase Permit law which allowed local sheriffs and government officials to discriminate with impunity at the local level.[3]

That could be, but does anybody want to say that it works that way now? If so, where are the lawsuits over refusal to issue, which surely would be a slam-dunk?
