At least Obama's Energy Department is consistent. (Picking Losers)

Of the 28 funded projects -- involving 23 companies -- listed in a 2012 congressional report, only four involve businesses that were either sold or are no longer in operation.
Okay, 5 of 28.Wneglia wrote: This list only goes through August. Others have been added since then.
Bush has been out of office for nearly 4 years. ... Do keep up ..Tertius wrote:No we are lamenting the loss of good money by an ignorant President.
I see on tv every night the mighty Mark Meadows bleating about how if only we "repeal Obamacare (of course), eliminate regulations, and cut taxes" how everything will be ok and "our families will prosper." Mark Meadows "understands what Barack Obama does not." Ridiculous. Mark Meadows is so full of shit I myself can hardly believe it. I can't wait to see how things will not change once he is handed his Congressional seat. He was probably talking about how his family will prosper once he gets his little taste of power.O Really wrote:That can't be true! For months, we've heard nothing from ad after ad about how business people - met payrolls, yada - are wonderful and should be given the keys to the kingdom. How can it be they can manage poorly?
The current president could piss away several billion a day from now until election day and not come close to the waste in money, lives, and prestige committed by the galactically stupid George Bush. Turdybus, you just can't see the forest for the trees. But you've always got solace at hand with your trusty bible.Tertius wrote:No we are lamenting the loss of good money by an ignorant President.

I manage pretty well; he's mostly a source of tragicomedy than anything else..... it's just that like a car wreck, some events tend to linger in your psyche long after the actual event. That's the sort of legacy he holds for me; a terrible automobile accident in broad daylight on a straight road. Bam!Reality wrote:PBO, are you ever going to shake the Bush cobwebs out of your head?
