But, cons have no problem nonsensically cheering Clint when he gripes about the Afghanistan War.
What this shows is that progressives, along with a smattering of libertarians, have always been the most leery of the national security state regardless of who is POTUS while the vast majority of slow learning cons only object when a Dem is.
In *general*, yup, I'd totally agree with that statement. Even though most of this spying crap was done under Bush, we didn't hear a word of opposition from them, in fact they supported it whole heartily, different story now.
