Tampons Confiscated, Guns Still Allowed At Texas Capitol Ahead Of Abortion Vote

Paige Lavender & Nick Wing

State troopers are confiscating tampons, maxi pads and other potential projectiles from those who are entering the Texas capitol to watch the debate and vote on a controversial anti-abortion bill. Guns, however, which are typically permitted in the state capitol, are still being allowed.

I tried to think of some clever or humorous answer. Couldn't do it. The legislatures of Texas as well as too many other states have been hijacked by those who should be in asylums. Too tragic to joke about.

You and Huffpo conveniently omitted that jars of paint, urine, feces, glitter, and confetti that were also confiscated.

Doesn't change the story.
Show me why tampons, maxi pads weren't permitted.
