Risks and Perils of Obamacare
This is an excellent letter written from the perspective of physicians, and submitted to multiple Ohio newspapers as a paid advertisment.

Yeah, yeah. I was willing to read it until I got to the part about "socialized medicine." Then I figured he was one of the ones who was claiming HIPAA would be the end of the medical profession as we know it.
Besides, it seems that although everyone is entitled to their own perspective, that the most important one in this issue would be the consumer, not the physician. Nothing personal, of course.

Re: Risks and Perils of Obamacare
Just another branch of birfers. As you know, people can sue over pretty much anything they want. Winning, on the other hand, is a different story. If I made the rules, I'd require any amendments to pertain specifically to the subject of the bill, and get rid of the practice of tagging on unrelated stuff just to give it a free ride through passage. But they're hanging their argument here on a very fine technicality, and within that technicality as is allowed by the Congressional rules, the Senate did "amend." Overturning "Obamacare" by that theory would result in a bunch of other laws suddenly becoming unconstitutional too, because of exceeding the "new" definition of "amend." Weren't some of these guys the ones who ridiculed the meaning of "is"?

Before that they pretend that healthcare isn't already rationed here.

Here's something else for you to laugh at:
The Determinators
Actually there is an interesting discussion of medical ethics in the middle.

Doctors putting politics over the healthcare of our citizens, kind of like Billy Graham endorsing a cult member.
