U.S. now the biggest oil and gas producer

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Good news. Now, I just wonder how much of that increase has taken place on private lands and how much of the federal land increase has taken place on permits issued by Bush? Kind of deceptive to attempt to give Obama any credit for this when the actual facts say that he has done far more to hurt oil production on federal land than to help it....but that is the liberal way.

"Federal lands?"

I never knew you were such an individual to open up the country to the highest bidder (though I should have figured).
Oligarchy supporter, yep, that's what you are. To heck with the populace.

Caricature, indeed ...

Yep! And, oddly enough, it's the Heritage Foundation who first came up with the premise for the ACA.
The ACA was also based on the model Romney implemented in Massachusetts.

I wonder if Jed Clampett was the original Tea Bagger......I mean, he went out with his big gun, shot it off, "...and up through the ground came a bubblin' crude." Townfolks said "Jed, move away from there" and, well, we know the rest. It's evident to me that Jed, Granny, Jethro, and Ellie May all had very little use for the government. Think about it.

If you had 25 million bucks, and made your own rheuma-tizz medicine, how much "use" would you have for the government?
(how much "use" do you really have now?)

I suppose, Vrede, I should learn to reference fictional characters and not real ones in the future?

Might make it easier for Homophobic to understand, eh? Image
