Hi

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Welcome aboard Mark.....if you're "the" Mark Schulman that we all know and love!

If you think you took a bashing at the T/N, wait until you disagree with Vrede and "The Good Time Gang".

Hope you got a thick hide...........

You want moderator privileges so you can censor us? :oII

(I'm starting to think it's possible he is who he says he is.....) Apparently he doesn't work for BRN anymore.

You all were a pain to moderate so I will have to decline the censorship role. LOL

And also, some of ya really need mental help and I am not joking.

I'm not even sure why I'm here. Guess I'm feeling nostalgic. :-||

Cheers!

To be fair you were a bit contradictory. No cheerleader pics, but they're plastered all over BRN's front page? I know you didn't make the corporations rules, but.... come on....

Why did you end up leaving? (I mean, I would have if I could, I don't see a future there...) but curiosity has the best of me. I actually thought their business would be out in a heartbeat when they started limiting how many articles you can see online, but they seemed to have reversed that decision.

That's all water under the bridge.

I moved onto greener pastures.

Thanks for asking Bannie!

I hope everyone is doing well and has their freedom here.

Talk to you all later

Truth be told, I haven't checked to see whether the moderators here would also react with pearl-clutching horror over a thread about the color blue.

I know who he is; he banned me a few times. That's why I said "............if you're "the" Mark Schulman...

It's good we can move on and get over the past. Whatever your endeavors, I wish you well.

Apparently the Times-News hasn't realized he has moved on to
greener pastures. He's still listed as the Online and Business Editor.
Maybe the addition of Business was a greener pasture. Yep, freedom
turned out to be a better deal than narrow-minded censorship. Big
surprise.

The idiot once sent me a nasty-gram for referring to the Detective as an "Eeyore," the lovable but ever-pessimistic donkey from Winnie the Pooh. Seemed pretty descriptive and non-insulting to me.

He never seemed to have any problem with "libtard" or all the derogotory variations of the President and First Lady's names (Obummer, Mooshell, etc.)

His ummm "editing" work and monitoring turned that forum from one of the best to one of the worst. Who says one person can't make a difference?

Ah... the memories. I gotta wonder though, was it really Mark, or those above him? Either way he should have protested just based on the history and reputation the press has for free speech.

Sounds like he went out of his way to be an dick though to you though O Really.

The one before Mark, when NYT owned the T/N, wasn't too strict; she just deleted the offending posts if they were too out of line.
Also, if any offended words were used, they must've had an automatic censor that ****** the words. Anyhow......

My response to Mark~
Please stay!!! Enlighten everyone as to why you used your status to censor others, and why you attempted banning anyone that challenged your oblivious reasoning?
Note the word I used there...attempted
How did it feel to know you caused your own downfall by being a petty-ass piss-ant?
