I used to like Dennis Miller. It would seem that he's one of those tragic brain damaged victims of aggressive drug use. It's a not uncommon failure. I'm still holding my own.

Dunno if the brain damage was caused by drug use or something in the water, but it seems to be affecting the 1985-1990 SNL cast particularly harshly.
