Is it too soon to get a whiff of optimism that the worst is over?

Fun indeed. I don't expect the wounded animals to give up - I'm just hoping the three remaining sane Republicans will keep kicking them to the curb, eventually putting them out of their misery.

From all indications, the teabaggers are unrepentant with regard to their penchant for fielding losing candidates. Bodes well for elections to come. They're saying "well, we didn't lose by much" and "it was the nasty national Republicans' fault" and "they said bad things about me" but bottom line, they lost everywhere they ran a loon (as if there were any other kind of teabagger).
