You do enjoy weasling, don't you?

Somewhat. Depends on the day, the moon, the mood...

I can tell you that I firmly detest it in others. But I have to put up with a LITTLE of it, I suppose.

So I put up with mine.
O Really wrote:That statement, in that manner, might get a harassment lawsuit, but the same guy could call the faggot into the office, and say, "I'm sorry, but I didn't know you were homosexual when I hired you, and I don't want you working here." And if that were the only issue, the employee would have no recourse. But again, employers don't usually do that. They have policies, they have corporate philosophies against sexual orientation discrimination, they generally don't care if a person is gay if they're doing a good job. But bottom line, if any factor is not protected, it can be used legally as a reason for firing.
Then fattism, green-eyeism, etc.ism are equally at risk, I suppose.

You'll have to forgive me for not doing so. I have an errand to run and a shit to give elsewhere. Smiley face.

You are (finally) correct. "Fattism", unless it can be tied into a disability is indeed unprotected, and you can toss the tubbies. It happens more often than you might think, although it's more typically a failure to hire or preferential job assignment. Green eyes? Don't like them. Fire the green-eyed wench. Unless s/he can show, for example, them to be a characteristic of a particular ethnic group (Irish?) and that is the basis for your bias, you're clear in dumping her.

As to "right to work" I don't care if you educate yourself or not, but if I were using a term in a way that made me seem ignorant on that which I profess to knowledgeable, I'd probably spend a couple of minutes looking it up. Saving face isn't just an Asian trait. Winking Face.

Methodist Pastor Frank Schaefer Faces Trial for Son's Gay Wedding

...The fate of Schaefer's father, the Rev. Frank Schaefer, will be decided at a Methodist retreat outside of Philadelphia this Monday, six years after he officiated at Tim's same-sex marriage in Massachusetts.

Schaefer, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church of Iona in South Lebanon Township, told his superiors in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference that he was going to perform at his son's wedding in 2007 and received no warning or reprimand. It was only this April, when a parishioner filed a complaint, that Schaefer was told he would face discipline for violating church doctrine.

"What is my crime? I blessed two people that loved each other," Schaefer, 51, told ABC News...

Schaefer has declined the church's offer to avoid trial by agreeing not to perform another same-sex marriage.

"Jesus our Lord and Savior never mentioned homosexuality at all and my point is if it is that important of an issue, why didn't he mention it?," Schaefer said...

On Saturday in Philadelphia, nearly 50 ministers participated in a same-sex wedding at a Methodist church as a symbol of support for their colleague, Schaefer, reports the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Schaefer, a pastor for nearly 20 years, has also received support from his local church community. A Facebook page called "Stand With Pastor Frank: Support Equality" has nearly 2,000 likes...
"six years"?! I wonder if the parishioner is "out of the closet" about her/his complaint or whether it's anonymous?
Maybe he just found out about it. Good job, preacher. And that's something I never say.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

I have no obsession with the proliferation of faggots. It's not rocket science to see that people are getting complacent with the rise of sickening perversions
and are gleeful in seeing these nasty bastards being accepted as normal, when they are nothing but lowlife freaks of nature. These posts that Verde posts, and his/her faithful clones dutifully mirror, that are celebrating queers, is an excellent example. Why worry about the populations affect on global warming?
In a hundred years there will be so many buttfuckers, shitpackers, and twat twinkies, that the population will surely dwindle and the climate just might return to normal, providing they don't go swimming and foul the waters with their stench.

Thanks; I always figured it was just my subliminal reaction to having to read endless reports and accounts of clergy sexually molesting and abusing young boys in the congregation. You must be an advocate.

It's a shame that a man who would dedicate his life in the work of God to turn his back on the very promise and responsibility of his calling. Of course, it's evident that Satan is alive and well and is doing everything in his power to bring down a church and make it an object of ridicule and shame.

As I said above about Satan......and I'll add this: Just because one calls himself a man of God......you know the rest.
I guess if a homosexual pedophile wanted a venue to access young boys, the church or a Boy Scout troop (both of which place trust in their leaders) would be the place to carry out their evil perversions.

God help us.

It's a shame that a man who would dedicate his life in the work of God, in living up to the very promise and responsibility of his calling, has to deal with a church bureaucracy that clings to hatred. Of course, it's evident that Satan is alive and well and is doing everything in his power to bring down a church and make it an object of ridicule and shame - despite this man's work and the 50 other ministers supporting him.

Homosexuals and pedophiles are NOT the same thing. Your claim is a cop-out; a lie by vile little hate-mongers like yourself, unwilling to deal honestly with the problem of vast number of pedophiles shuffled from unsuspecting church to unsuspecting church. Unable to cope with knowing that the vast majority of them were heterosexual Christian believers like yourself.

Small wonder that the Scouts, the other organization earning a reputation for the problem and for sweeping it under the rug, ALSO barred homosexuals the whole time, ALSO made Christianity a requirement, and yet ALSO had the same problem regardless the whole time.

You're pathetic. Its people like you who kept the problem swept under the rug for generations.

You, like Banni, are cherry-picking. As you are well aware, the parts you choose to ridicule is merely ancient history, not the Biblical lifestyle expected of today's Christians. When a "pastor" works to turn a church from the Bible, they are satanic.

Call me what you wish, I've a thick hide, but one day you can call me GONE!

Wow! You defending someone's honor or something? A homosexual is a homosexual, no matter how many coats of paint is used in an attempt to cover it up; a heterosexual is a heterosexual; something that doesn't change overnight.
So if a male prefers boys, he's not a homosexual pedophile? That's rich; a lie by vile little Sodomite-supporters like yourself that are unwilling to admit that men who weasel themselves into the lives of young boys to have sex with them are homosexuals. And not only that....according to your warped, twisted thinking...it's the church's fault! You and your ilk are the pathetic ones; ones who defend homosexuals who are caught messing with kids.

Have you ever heard of someone telling a lie? Scout leaders, church leaders, etc. that are put in positions of responsibility and are caught in their vile deeds lied about their Christianity, and the respective organizations did sweep it under the rug in an attempt to avoid embarrassment over their being duped into believing them. BTW....Jerry Sandusky wasn't a church leader or a scout leader. He started his own "club" to induce and seduce; just because he was a husband and father doesn't lessen the fact that he was a closeted homosexual. He had to cover his tracks and perverted desires somehow.

Sorry.....your insults aimed at me are empty, and your post is a cop-out as an attempt to absolve homosexual pedophiles of any wrong doings and laying the blame for their perversions elsewhere.

No. Pedophiles prefer kids, and have little preference for either sex. Studies have shown that most men who have gone after boys are usually solidly heterosexual when it comes to adults. (citation, with numerous studies) The difference was that they were put in charge of choir boys, and not choir girls, boy scouts, and not girl scouts.

That's a lie. A self-delusion by people like you who would rather let kids get molested rather than let it interfere with your dogma.

Possible, but I think some nasty personal vendetta is more likely. It doesn't sound like the pastor ever hid anything.
And it appears Vrede is correct again...

The church's attorney, the Rev. Christopher Fisher, told the 13-member jury in his opening statement that Schaefer clearly violated the Methodist Book of Discipline by presiding over the 2007 ceremony in Massachusetts. He said the complainant — a member of Schaefer's congregation — was dismayed and shocked when he learned of the ceremony earlier this year.

Shocked! Shocked, I say!

Why would anybody put up with this kangaroo court? It's not like there aren't other churches that would be happy to have somebody like Shaefer.

As my link above said...
Schaefer, 51, could be suspended, reprimanded or lose his credentials because he performed a wedding ceremony for his son in 2007 in Massachusetts. He had informed his superiors about it beforehand and did not face any consequences until April, when a congregant filed a complaint.
With his superiors informed and not stopping it, and with no consequences until someone complained six years later, and with 50 other ministers supporting him, it seems that it's church policy that's on trial more than the minister.

To be sure, there was not enough real evidence in the article to definitively support a personal vendetta. But bringing up an old and not hidden issue and claiming to have just heard about it and being "shocked" to the point of trying to get him removed sure sounds personal. Now if there was a large group of members, or if the local church leadership had tried to oust him... but it do sound like a personal issue to me. Whatever happened to just changing churches if you don't like the minister? I haven't read about any shortage of them.

A lie!?! Do you seriously believe that? So you're saying if a man applies for a job as a scoutmaster, or wants to enter the "ministry", and he's up front with his pedophile desires, he's going to be hired/accepted despite his revelation? Are you for real or just plain stupid and "would rather let kids get molested rather than let it interfere with your dogma?" How would my beliefs (or dogma) desire that kids get molested? That's the stupidest remark you've ever made, and I thought you were a rather intelligent individual....guess I was fooled.
