Watch out with At&T

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Watch out with At&T

Unread post by neoplacebo »

Got my phone bill today; also have internet service with them and the NSA. Anyway, they have my last month bill included with this month's bill. But I'm onto them; they cashed my check for last month more than ten days ago. I've written appropriate notes on the payment stub, which I look forward to mailing off later this month (my favorite part is where I refuse the "late charge" in rather eloquent and direct prose) . I've previously been at war with BofA and am at present in a truce, stalemate, quagmire, or something with them. I sort of feel like corporate America is out to get me, or at least take advantage of me. I do not plan to give up. I just wonder if they mess with everybody else this way.....

Good to know... but BofA and AT&T are probably two of the worst companies in the United States, so maybe it's not all of corporate America out to get you, just most of it. ;)

I like how we have to pay for long distance now whether we use it or not.

Yeah, I hammered them on that long distance access charge years ago when they banned me from making long distance calls after a guy who stayed at my place for about a month made all these calls to some porn talk site (I swear it wasn't me)....900 bucks worth. Told them I wouldn't pay it. Then asked how much they were going to refund me after paying the access charge for more than a year. Next thing I know, I can make long distance calls again. It smelled like victory.
