Mike's numbers are of course wrong.. but more to the point.. the issue isn't that the rich pay most of all the taxes.. hell they should.. they make most of the money.. It's the percentage of that income they pay as taxes that should be the concern.. Because of a number of advantages available only to the wealthy ..the rich pay a smaller percentage of their total income as do middle class taxpayers.. Period.

And worse.. how has Congress responded to such inequality.. by insisting that there is more blood to be had in those stones.. cutting food stamps, unemployment benefits...

It seems the wealthier they become the more they blame the poor for being poor..

Could be different in this case but my experience is that most "black" cons on internet forums are really white.

There used to be a guy on yap radio named Ken Hamblin (I think), billed himself as the "Black Avenger" and was pretty hard core right wing, libertarian, whatever. But a cursory review of his previous lives seemed to indicate that he adopted the mantel of the right wing as a means to make a lot of money throwing red meat to the rubes. Possibly the wrong rube was messed with. One day he left his radio show citing "contract dispute" and was rarely if ever heard from publicly again, possibly living in France.

I saw a story today that noted that US Senator Lamar Alexander's former chief of staff, who was arrested a couple of months ago on child pornography charges, killed himself in the basement of his parents house on Thursday I think it was. I remember posting about his initial arrest, but can't find it. I suppose this means he was guilty.

more people getting free stuff than paying for the Free stuff..

Now understand this.
